It's said a picture speaks a thousand words, so instead of putting up links, I'm going to put up lovely cut-and-paste icons. Though not as nice as those on Kdmt's blog, I hope it'll make my blog look nicer.

A new year's coming up. In about 5hrs ++, we'll be experiencing a subtle change in figures that human beings have decided to blow up so large that we have ridiculously organised parties just to celebrate a change of how we write the year daily administration.

But then again, we do have stuff to celebrate about --- and maybe some to moan about --- from big matters that affect even how someone pees this very minute to small matters like how your's truely will write in the coming day...

Or year, if you prefer.

OK. Biggest thing so far was the tsunami that occured from an earthquake near a bunch of islands that I never knew existed. Big deal. I always found tsunamis intriguing, with the number of deaths they manage to generate. I thought if you can harness the energy of these huge waves, just how many light bulbs can you lit? Techies aside, close to 120,000 people are dead now. I told my brother 3 days ago that the death toll might reach half a million in the end --- when it was just close to 40,000 then.It might change the way we travel --- or cruise. It might not.

But then there are also other big matters like how Saddam was caught in a "spider hole". Change of leadership was eminent. Can be seen in Singapore, however the big change expected didn't happened. Everyone expected Lee Hsien Loong to be a strict leader. Something like theoracracy, and he would make huge changes to Goh Chock Tong's changes and make sure it people suffer. Many thought Singapore will become like a police state under Lee Hsien Loong. But it didn't happen. Then there was the change of presidency in Indonesia. Dr SBY --- in short --- took over Mdm Megawati --- who turned out just another greedy official by getting the government to pay for her luxuries after her rule --- all these signed in the last few days of her in offiice.

We have the ever imposing Mr George W. Bush --- with his ridiculous form of English that I will call Bush-it. He made SO many errors that if he were drunk throughout his term in offiice, his followers, ie, Dr Condi Rice Co. would have thought he wished to fart in Saddam's face.

Then we come to changes within our college. First of all changes that affected my immediate future:

We had a change of classes. Details arn't out, but rumours are that no classes are unscathed from the class arrangements. People are pushed around --- like dirt --- into foreign land that will take them forever to get used to People who couldn't make the cut were ruthlessly pushed out from MOE's strict education system. Or YJC's education system, if I have my say in educational matters. So what if YJC got the highest ranked in terms of "Getting there!!" --- pardon me. I forgot the term that the oxy-morons at MOE associate with. I think just beacause YJC wants to maintain her top rannking position among this islands Junior Colleges, she should chuck deemed useless people out of the college. I believe everybody have their specialities. Some need more time. Geniuses like Kdmt and Joyce don't, that's all.

Then there's this blog which is fortunately going to last to the new year, unlike most other blogs that's listed on the right colomn on this page. Most of them had at least 2 changes in skins. I think Shiqin had 2, Kdmt has a million and counting, Nizam the "bitch" nearly closed his blog beacue he simply ran out of shit to complain about. People like Divian closed his blog and never told me about it. We have Rebecca who blogs about every detail of her daily life. We have people like Kdmt who let some shit people contribute to his pages. Some of the links didn't even have my link. I know of some blog out there who has my link, but they are simply too scared to own up on my tag-board, so I can link them. I also had some punk who decided to take impersonation of The Aquarian -- proudly declaring that I have "Da BLOG!!"

Happy New Year, folks.

OGL Camp II is horrible today.

Not only was it boring, the people didn't know what to do with themselves! Taking example of Daphne,(not particularly because she was that terrible) maybe she would want to think about what she wants to say to us before she comes on.

NOnetheless, Armpit was the worst among the worse, he even inprovised on the already-terok story of the hip-hop mass dance --- on the spot! The song's Blaque - I'm Good.

1) Go Market X4.
2) Alamak! Step on shit! Wipe it OFF!
3) Lots of people in this market today! Nudge! Nudge! Nudge! them away.
4) I forgot this part. But it was a side-stepping action X4
5) I want chicken wing! No chicken wing?! (throws tantrum)
6) If no chicken wing, then I'll go somewhere else to find 'em!
7) Hi to Uncle, Hi to Aunty, Hi to Aunty's sexy daughter, Daughter not happy.
8) I WANT CHICKEN WING!!
9) Nice looking.....chicken wing. I take a bite hor!
10) Not too bad. I'm soooo happy with my new find that I'll pray with this chicken wings.

RESTART.

So dumb, yeah? His brains are rotting under the turban.

Taking the public transport in Singapore reminds me of the busses that I took at my Grandma's. Unless your sense of senses are crushed under your brain's weight, you should have noticed that busses in Singapore, especially the public transport, are reeeeeallly sloooooow. Most of them max
at 60KM/h. Why is this so? It's sooo slow!

OK. Perphaps Singapore is small, so they figured that you probably don't need much time to get around. But take a look at the coaches in M'sia. They travel at their max speeds. The old busses got inferior engines, so they max out at 125KM/h. The new and bigger engines max out at 150KM/h. OK. I know they ain't allowed to speed, and most of the stretches along the exressway limts 110KM/h, and PM Abdullah cannot possibly permit outrageous speeds of 150KM/h for cars, let alone busses, but I think it takes away all the fun while travelling on the expressway!

The journey from here to Seremban is close to 400KM. And usual travelling on cars take about 4 hours, including the jams on the Causeway. Busses take about 5 hours from Lavender to Seremban. My point is, if express busses don't travel at the speeds that they do now, it'll be the New Year when they reach their destinations! I think it'll be good to implement laws to encourage inexprerienced drivers to maintain the speed limits, and ensure that all long haul express busses that exceed 2 hours or so to have 2 or more drivers. Because long haul drivers get bored as the long stretches of staright roads goes on. And it was written somewhere that fatique is one of the main reasons for drivers involved in accidents. Just on the express bus that I took while going back, the driver was stretching himself and massaging his shoulders while driving. Imagine the fear if he had been weaving in and out heavy traffic along the Senawang to KL area and still yawning and massaging himself.

Stinks.

There wasn't an extra qualified driver around. But luckily the macik was going quite slowly --- about 90KM/h --- well below the terrifiying speeds that Konsortium Ekspres drivers go at.

Going back to Singapore public transport, I think express busses --- especially those that travel mostly on the highways, like TIBS 858, 969 and SBS 170 --- these fleet should be configured to remove their speed limiters, so they can go faster! I can't believe after all these years, public transport are still restricted to 60KM/h. Not New Year that they reach their terminals --- it's the next weekend.

We are an advanced country. Or "Advanced-Developing" country as westerners like to label us. And I think we do know of the dangers of speeding, and precautions to take on dangerous stretches. Games like NFS-U1/2 are already taking precautions for their gamers and warnings that driving virtually is not the same at driving on real roads. So I think youngsters know of the potential dangers if they cruise around like a mad man. Also, I think if Singaporeans want to advance any more economically, we need to relax on the speed barriers to increase efficiencies.

Selamat Datang ke Singapura!

HAHA. I just got back from my Grandma's in Seremban. Had a hell of a time there slacking away. Grandma's getting older (duh) and there's like almost nobody home after all my aunties went overseas to venture into mew job prospectives, like one who went England to tour around, one who's still unmarried and stuck in Singapore with Canadian boyfriend, one who's married and had 2 kids in a short span of time of 3 years plus with an Australian bloke (heehee, just kidding), one who might have been married to my father if not for fate, but alas she married a Malaysian and moved just opposite to my Grandma's estate and had 3 kids in the last span of 20 years. One more who's my uncle, and though he used to work in Singapore as a TIBS driver almost 10 years ago but now choosed to remain to stay close to his beloved mother, ie my Grandma, married the girl of his dreams about 15 years ago, stayed with Grandma, had 3 kids in the span of last 14 years. Did I miss out my Ma who married a Singaporean, had 2 kids in the span of last 20 years, had 2 kids in the last 17 years, and now's a TaiTai who's damn bored at home after being a seamtress for almost all her life, so now she's decided to go out and work to get more money for her endless shopping requirements.

Anyway, I had loads of fun --- ate alot of stuff, many many many of the all time favourite durians, lots of roast pork, roti planta, roti tissue. BTW, the roti tissue wasn't all that cool unless they are skilled enough not to let the roti touch the table when served on the plate. It was cool, kinda crunchy, and BIG. Awesome. Teh tarik, although only a few mugs, were quite good.

Then there was the standard Paos. Talking about paos, I have no idea why the Singapore version of the paos are so pathetically small. And dry. I tried one while I was in Victoria School for the floorball thingy, and it sucked big time. SO dry and it's like one lump of meat roughly shoved into dough then hurriedly stuffed into the oven steamer.

Lot's to talk about. BRB with another post.

It says in the law of blogging, that unless you blog about sex at least once a week, you most probably are pretty boring.

So let's talk about sex, lust, drool, whatever that might stimulate a person.

Your truely is unfortunately pretty sexless. YOu won't get a picture of some naked bimbo with suds all over her on my blog. However, I do see that the video games that are released quite recently are using more of the X-factors that make people successful. Successful as in Hollywood, TVB, Bollywood --- think in terms of these.

Now take another shot at the X-factor I mentioned.

Yep. Sex, violence. More sex, more violence. MORE SEX. MORE VIOLENCE.

Ahh. Now you are probably seeing the link already, huh?

Yeah. Cool. SO we take another shot at the PC games arena --- not movies cos I'm not legally allowed to watch R(A)-21 movies yet. Presently, I have both versions of Need For Speed Underground. And the feature of the games are cars.

Typically, men associate cars with race girls. And race girls = sex. One excellent example is The Jedi. (Catch his extremely sexless link as "hasyir" on the right).

The Jedi is not as gayed as all jedis are supposed to be. He associates race girls to sex. The proof is on the countless trips that we take when we used to go back home from Anderson Sec. Conversations spill over to race cars and occasionally race girls. And I would smug at him for eyeing the pathetic girls on race car shows.

C'mon. They don't have the looks, nor the boobs --- 2 basic requirements to attract yours truely's attention immediately. I'll give an example of a WOW-girl:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Vivien Hsu, Tawainese-Japanese actress.

Now THAT's some babe. Too bad I couldn't find a picture of Belinda Lee, former MTV VJ of MTV Asia. SHe currently co-hosts Calsberg World of Friends on Channel 5, every Thursday at 9pm.

****

Let's come back to race girls. It seems computer generated women are getting more and more sophisicated. Need for Speed girls:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

and the not-so-recent Aki Ross:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I swore the first time I got a glimpse of Aki Ross, I thoguht she was a real person --- thought a bit banged up here and there, probably recovered from a major gang-fight.

If you furthur look up Aki Ross with Google Image search, a bikinied version of her comes up! This is leading me to believe that geeks are designing women from scratch and make them extremely beautiful, because their pimpled and acned faced can't look up real girls. A computer generated one will serve them just right --- not just beacause these "women" look more perfect then the latest chick on FHM, but also because they won't reject their creator, and catch this --- their creators have the ability to jerk themselves off while looking at these "women" move seductively on their high-resolution computer screens.

Not to forget the sense of satisfaction the creator feels when he shows off his babe to other geeks.

Floorball tournament didn't go as well as we had expected. Guys lost the medal all because we had a kayu umpire who's damn biased. Otherwise we would have been one rank higher at 6th and above!

Girls wasn't too bad. They trashed quite a few teams from other JCs, one of the most memorable is the Meridian JC girls, who lost 1-5. It might have been us guys cheering for them after we have a break of half and hour. I remembered that I cheered so loud that the malay standing next to me at the top distancing himself from me.

Izzah got a name for herself when her shots from half court went in the goal post --- being the defender for the power line. A big HAHA cos usually Izzah doesn't score at all in our trainings.

Simply historical!

In the end, the girls got 3rd. Well done.

Looks like its gonna be qut\ite an exciting few days from now.

Yours truely fortunately got selected to represent Team YJC for their Floorball Tournament this year-end.

And I got what I wished for! Shawn is a Reserve for Team YJC Floorball Boys!

The feeling isn't all that great though, when you try so hard, but rarely get the chance to show off or even to display bits of the hard work that you trained for.

Just hope we can be top 3!

Went Pasir Ris Primary School for our match today.

Woke up late by half an hour because while attempting to set the alarm, I think I got really careless. My alarm comes in the form of the hi-fi in my room, and when set, the thingy will spring to life and start blasting music in whatever configurations to set to.

So I set the thingy --- or at elast I thought I did --- last night before I popped into bed.

The brief sunrays outside my windows woke me. And tghe first thing that hit me was that I have to go Pasir Ris. Then I grabbed my towel, but saw my hi-fi still in the setting mode.

Poor thing. It's been flashing for the past 6 hours for its owner to set the time.

Hey I wasn't late except for only 15min,OK?

****

So anyways, floorball match to day with the Pasirian trainees isn't fun. They were beating us something like 5-0. But in the end, we still struck back with 2 goals, all thanks to Clarence, that crazy mutt.

9-2 end score.

While having luch with the rest today at Tampines's Long John, I hear stories about J2s, especially about Suresh, our keeper before he died of gawd-knows-what-mysterious causes, which owed him a front page recognition on the Tamile Murasu the very next day --- courtesy of our dear Mr Manikam.

Poor Suresh. Though I didn't and haven't met him before, his stories can make one reallt think of the days of floorball when he was around. Seniors said he did those fanciful stuff like twirling the ball in his hands before he threw the ball, exegerated movements like he was about to throw a million dollar testicle across the court --- and Coach was always begging him to play floorball --- not perform floorball.

Along the way, I also heard stories of other J2s --- I supposed they are gone now --- either for NS of shit jobs like sales assitance. So anyways, they were really odd people like one who accused my senior of being a slut in front of many many guys. Too bad it wasn't a hit-and-run case when this dude said something of shit-quality to my senior, cos al the guys heard what he said, and my senior's parents was on the verge of calling the police. Story was that this guys was weird --- real weird.

Anotherone wasabout some jerk who always sits at the back of the lecture hall. And one fine day, someone found him jerking himself off DURING THE LECTURE.

Gasps.

Others are rather lame. Like this guys who looked like a potential Beng when he first stepped into YJ, but in the end made off J2 as one of the top scorers for prelims. One other that I can remember is that he stepped into YJ with a scowl that's enough to scare off Simon Cowell, but still ran off at the end of Prelims a smiling a jovial boy, reason being he's just shy, so even when teachers approach him, he'll give the expressionless expression that comes in the form of a scowl.

Melvin wasn't himself today. He was preaching about his new-found shit called Network Marketing. And he refused to explain even when Sophian offered him sexual favours in exchange for some explaination, saying thaat we won't understand.

"OK. I don't know what it is, bu when I know already hor, then I explain"

"It's like riding a bicycle. If I told you to 'ride this bicycle' without giving you a bike to ride, would you know how to ride?"

"Same lah! I don't have experience in Network Marketing, so I can't explain!"

*and the rest of us gave him this BLUR look*

"Aiyoh....OK..let's say I go one step furthur --- I tell you that riding a bike uses the theory of balance --- but I still don't give you the ike to practise on, would you know how to ride?"

*OOOOHHHH-EEYYYYEEE-CEEEEEE*

And he went on to preach about how just reading about Network Marketing has changed his life...dada-this...lah-lah-that.

Hmm...if this book can change the outlook on life of some normal boy, I think I'll try it too.

My dear brother just learned the existence of The Gimp, after it residing on his desktop for those billion of years.

He was asking me:

"OOi, koko, you know those (fabulous) pictures that you have on your blog?
I want them too!
How do you do it ah?"

"Oh. My friend (Kdmt) has this fantastic image hosting by Linux (by Linux).
You want to try?"

"--*Gasps--*"

Oh, well. He a learning boy. SO big brothers' jobs are to pump their little siblings with useful information that's good enough for robbing banks, besides looking out for their patheric asses in times of danger.

Being at home isn't the best of options when you have a training somewhere going on that you WERE supposed to attend. I got thoroughly bored at home. And in the end got bullied by Andy. He held me at gun point and threatened that if I don't surrender all the games I have, he'll rape me.

Ended up I lost a great deal of my cds to him.

I think I suck at floorball.

We had a friendly match with the Republic Poly kids yesterday. Seriously, we were short of manpower to last us long. Of course, we realised thismlong before we had any friendly matches with anobody.

OK. It didn't seem too bad in the middle of the year when Mdm Shelia had to shed people from the floorball team due to popularity. But I bet she didn't realise that many would be eventually affected by the promotional exams thingy and some will quit YJ. So the girls are really short of people. I can count all of them with 2 hands.

No need for toes.

Guys were in a similar fix. Great ego boosters such as Bob --- were retained. Btw, I haven't seen him around. I think he jumped ship to go poly.

Without aid of the seniors, we are a shit team. J1s alone cannot form any lines (usually a group of four to five), let alone a team representing YJ. Lucky we still have great players like Melvin, Chin, Farhan (the psycho captain), Farhan (the Rodney House captain), Faz, Zaid to support us still.

RPoly match was horrible. I conceited 1 goal because I was at thw wrong place at the wrong time --- I left my defense position to aid Malik in tackiling this Bloke. Then the bloke passed the ball over to Centre Bloke, and he shot it in!

Otherwise, we could have struck a win of 3-2, instead of the draw of 3-3.

Side effects from any matches can vary. I sustained TWO strained ham-strings. So painful that I couldn't sleep last night.

****

Never knew I can blow $27 at one shot. My bike was getting waaaay too spastic for this controlled rider to take, prolli cos after the collision with the car of YJC vice-principal Mrs Tan ( when my bike flipped and literally bounced on the tar ), that it sustained so such truma. The rear wheel rims went wobbly, until I knocked it back to shape.

I wasn't prepared for the gears that started to go wobbly about 4 mths later as well. Maybe the vice-principal Mrs Tan is to be blamed. Maybe cos its wearing out after its owner pushed it to it limits by moving it close to 500KM ++ within the last 4 mths at speeds averaging 25KM/h +

Ended up I had to change the worn-out axle, the worn-out rear gear ( NOT the crankshift ):

This is a nice one as I was blog surfing: Enjoy! http://www.tonypierce.com/blog/bloggy.htm

"

six months ago - pretty much how to blog by tony pierce, 110

1. write every day.

2. if you think youre a good writer, write twice a day.

3. dont be afraid to do anything. infact if youre afraid of something, do it. then do it again. and again.

4. cuss like a sailor.

5. dont tell your mom, your work, your friends, the people you want to date, or the people you want to work for about your blog. if they find out and you'd rather they didnt read it, ask them nicely to grant you your privacy.

6. have comments. dont be upset if no one writes in your comments for a long time. eventually they'll write in there. if people start acting mean in your comments, ask them to stop, they probably will.

7. have an email address clearly displayed on your blog. sometimes people want to tell you that you rock in private.

8. dont worry very much about the design of your blog. image is a fakeout.

9. use Blogger. it's easy, it's free; and because they are owned by Google, your blog will get spidered better, you will show up in more search results, and more people will end up at your blog. besides, all the other blogging software & alternatives pretty much suck.

10. use spellcheck unless youre completely totally keeping it real. but even then you might want to use it if you think you wrote something really good.

11. say exactly what you want to say no matter what it looks like on the screen. then say something else. then keep going. and when youre done, re-read it, and edit it and hit publish and forget about it.

12. link like crazy. link anyone who links you, link your favorites, link your friends. dont be a prude. linking is what seperates bloggers from apes. and especially link if you're trying to prove a point and someone else said it first. it lends credibility even if youre full of shit.

13. if you havent written about sex, religion, and politics in a week youre probably playing it too safe, which means you probably fucked up on #5, in which case start a second blog and keep your big mouth shut about it this time.

14. remember: nobody cares which N*Sync member you are, what State you are, which Party of Five kid you are, or which Weezer song you are. the second you put one of those things on your blog you need to delete your blog and try out for the marching band. similarilly, nobody gives a shit what the weather is like in your town, nobody wants you to change their cursor into a butterfly, nobody wants to vote on whether your blog is hot or not, and nobody gives a rat ass what song youre listening to. write something Real for you, about you, every day.

15. dont be afraid if you think something has been said before. it has. and better. big whoop. say it anyway using your own words as honestly as you can. just let it out.

16. get Site Meter and make it available for everyone to see. if you're embarrassed that not a lot of people are clicking over to your page, dont be embarrassed by the number, be embarrassed that you actually give a crap about hits to your gay blog. it really is just a blog. and hits really dont mean anything. you want Site Meter, though, to see who is linking you so you can thank them and so you can link them back. similarilly, use Technorati, but dont obsess. write.

17. people like pictures. use them. save them to your own server. or use Blogger's free service. if you dont know how to do it, learn. also get a Buzznet account. several things will happen once you start blogging, one of them is you will learn new things. thats a good thing.

18. before you hit Save as Draft or Publish Post, select all and copy your masterpiece. you are using a computer and the internet, shit can happen. no need to lose a good post.

19. push the envelope in what youre writing about and how youre saying it. be more and more honest. get to the root of things. start at the root of things and get deeper. dig. think out loud. keep typing. keep going. eventually you'll find a little treasure chest. every time you blog this can happen if you let it.

20. change your style. mimic people. write beautiful lies. dream in public. kiss and tell. finger and tell. cry scream fight sing fuck and dont be afraid to be funny. the easiest thing to do is whine when you write. dont be lazy. audblog at least once a week.

21. write open letters. make lists. call people out on their bullshit. lead by example. invent and reinvent yourself. start by writing about what happened to you today. for example today i told a hot girl how wonderfully hot she is.

22. when in doubt review something. theres not enough reviews on blogs. review a movie you just saw, a tv show, a cd, a kiss you just got, a restaurant, a hike you just took, anything.

23. constantly write about the town that you live in.

24. out yourself. tell your secrets. you can always delete them later.

25. dont use your real name. dont write about your work unless you dont care about getting fired.

26. dont be afraid to come across as an asswipe. own your asswipeness.

27. nobody likes poems. dont put your poems on your blog. not even if theyre incredible. especially if theyre incredible. odds are theyre not incredible. bad poems are funny sometimes though, so fine, put youd dumb poems on there. whatever.

28. tell us about your friends.

29. dont apologize about not blogging. nobody cares. just start blogging again.

30. read tons of blogs and leave nice comments.

31. if you're going to ripoff/mimic/be inspired by one blogger make it raymi, shes perfect.

So sickening.

I booted to my Mandrake this morning after doing my housechores, and I couldn't log in any of the accounts, including the root account. So that means I've tried logging into my personal account, my Ma's account (even tough she rarely uses it), the Super User's account. And in all instances, the screen flashed black, then goes back to the login screen!

What goofiness.

Thought this might come one fine day, gathering this from number of error messages MDK tells me while it booting up, from ONE message that one fine day, to FOUR today! My rough guess would be that I surfed and tried reading my downloads, and saved them to a /tmp folder. Guess what? It's waaaay to much to hold in this single folder that packs into the /swap space that MDK's complaining that it can't possibly operate with the junk I have! And now? MDK abandons me!

What crap.

Since I have about 95% of my important files on a separate hard disk, your's truely has decided to be Santa this few days and reformat the hdd, AND also install Windowz so my dear brother can benefit from playing the mindless racing games I have in stock in the drawer to my right now.

So until then, I have to rely on my trusty 233MHz which has decided to take a liking to yellow, giving me a display of all yellow.

One interesting fact I noticed --- My MDK has 24GB for all users. Your's truely has taken up 1.5GB to 2GB himself, plus prolli 2GB more in his /tmp --- all this amount within 6 months. Wonderful fractions tell me I should have deleted the shit in /tmp stuff and not choke MDK with my junk.

Sigh.

After all 6 songs, I can't decide who's gonna get my vote. Both are just as impressive: R&B's Taufik Batisah's place; Rock'n'Roll's Sims's territory. One just can't based them purely in one category where either one of them will socre well, such as what my Ma has done.

That's serious error.

But come to think of it, both are still winners. Contract's offered to both of them in the end. Oh well.

Singapore Idol fever is hitting home.

Unfortuately, this home is rather inbalanced. 3 people in this house. 2 finalist contestants. It has to be inbalanced.

And also most unfortuantely, both of them --- Ma and Bro --- are giving rather inbalanced views too. Yours Truely, fortunately, is giving both of them a run for my time. So I'm giving the benefit of doubt --- so to speak, so I can take everything that's presented.

Ma and Bro are rooting for Taufik Batisah. Sylvester Sim isn't getting any votes for now. But hey, there's still one more non-Taufik-hardcore fan here.

Judging from the current market, as suggested by music stores that I know of from Chinatown to City Hall to Sembawang, the fight of R&B against Rock is even.

Since my fellow bloggers from Zhao's team have put up pressure to post backgrounds from their superior desktops, I shall not succumb to this trick to create more junk on the Internet, unless LittleC4 posts one screenie too by tonight.

Talking about junk on the Internet, did you know that the size of the Internet is extraordinarily small? I was reading an article somewhere, perphaps on the local papers, and it stated that the Internet has about 80 terabytes of data swinging around our darling 16 servers located around the world on the major continents except Antartica.

Huge surprise, since 80 terabytes is about 1000X the size of a typical current desktop. And we have about 3-4 billion Netizens? Makes one wonder if people have been copying data or linking them, instead of creating new data all the time to offer us Netizens.

Just a while ago, I was reorganising my music collection, again, the inspiration coming from Kdmt's screen shot, where something that might have looked like XMMS popped up. For the goons' record, XMMS is the Linux version for ever-helpful Winamp. Note it's Linux, cos UNIX couldn't ever need to play songs in that gawd-forgotten era when only the BBC and bullshit radio programs such as Top of Pops reigned the radio. Digital music wasn't exactly the in-thaaang 30 years ago. And now Mac now decided XMMS is pretty good, so people like Kdmt have a working XMMS.

Coming back to my problem, I couldn't use XMMS properly, and the stupid crap crashes when it's ordered to play songs. It's a known issue in MDK 10.0 Official, but they fixed it in the MDK 10.0 Official for AMD64 machnies and also 10.1, which btw is shipping already.

Since we're hot on the issue of Linux, I'm feeling decidedly that I should bang OS X on their fking kernel.

Halt.

Another time bah.

Hmm..where was I?

Oh yeaah. I visited SITEX 2004 and lord'n'behold SuSE Linux decided to make a special appearence and sell their brand new barang barang --- SuSE Linux 9.2 Boxed and priced at S$168.

For the goons, again, Mandrake is not the only vendor for Linux. As you might have heard of SuSE: Image Hosted by ImageShack.us, with their advertising heating up , and also Redhat: Image Hosted by ImageShack.us.

Ahh..These are the favourites of the world. Redhat, probabaly because they are the first people to make installation of software on Linux a tad easier with the RPM --- Redhat Package Manager. SuSE's catching now prolli cos they have an incredibly easy interface now that they have repackaged their desktop and stuff. They even boasts that they have designed the Graphical User Interface (GUI) so that even a pure Win9X/NT/XP user can adapt to Linux in a jiffy --- meaning in a few minutes.

So why didn't I change? It's one of their new feature --- auto update. Maybe I didn't tell you blogders I absolutely HATE auto updates. Furthur more, Linux is mroe about the user being in control, cos I don't want you to scan thru my system, cos I don't want you to have some knowledge of my habits for the sake of improving your next version.

So fk you with the auto-update and shove it up your craphole.

In Linux, I want contol, I want my own fate.

I've been on and on about my training. So here's my timetable:

See how these people are out to get us? I think I'll die from stress and excess running.

BOY, 17, DIED DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Unfortuantely for SHAWN, 17, he has sucumbed to excess floorball training during the holidays.

Coronary reports that SHAWN had a puddle of liquid which might have been his braincells, and Doctor M.Hasyir stated in his report that SHAWN was earlier training hard for the upcoming floorball tournament, in which his school, YJC will be taking part in.

The local Minister for Education, Mr. Sadi Edbe, has expressed his condolences for SHAWN's family.

"We will take action against the captains of YJC floorball team for we have lost another one of our talented student.

"However, lucky for us, the Ministry will no longer have persistant emails coming to our inboxes from SHAWN to change the offcial Operating Systems (OSes) from Microsoft Windows to Open Source alternatives.

"Alternates from SHAWN included GNU/Linux and MacOS X

"And we thank God SHAWN is now dead"

In the separate report about the Mr Sadi Edbe's affair with....

Talking about training, Vincent and I were taking our turn to the water-coolers after the terribly training regime, him especially hard cos he doesn't have as frequent breaks as us as the goalkeeper. Anyway, this oddball whom we don't know waved as we were trudging pass the squash courts, as he was walking passed us. I thought he ( yes ...HE...and he looks too green --- like he had seen a naked guy walking across the traffic light with nothing but white suds covering his everywhere but his dick --- while coming into school ) was a friend of Vincent's, so I ignored him. Then when his greenish freak rounded the corner, I asked Vincent:

"OOi, was he waving at you?"

"I dunno.

He's your friend?"

"No," I replied.

*Vincent and Shawn shrugged off the Greenish Freak encounter, and strolled into the toilet*

At this point (of typing), I wished that you freaks don't come up to me as if I were your best friend. Please do introduce your-freaking-selves, including Green-Freak.
