Back from my break! One of the most enjoyable part was surely the trip to P.D. Got my burnt silly. So did the other 3 of my cousins! Not sure exactly how long we spent in the waters --- 2 hours, I reckon --- think we drank alot of salt water + sea minerals + urine + alot of other ambiguous potentially toxic/bitter/uber salty shit.

Then we took the long way home, thinking maybe along the way we'd find some cheap fruits that kampong dwelling-bumiputra might offer. but NO! we found more secluded towns than we could find the number of stalls selling ANYTHING. What the fuck is wrong with them. Are they too rich that doing an honest living selling fruits at the roadside is too low-class for them?!
This has to be one of the quietest Christmas since Callista came along (Em came in one year later, so not counted!) The tree is still collecting dust in the storeroom, no form of decorations, no music, not even my computer desktop has any form of decor.
For the last 5 years, we would lavish cheap thrills onto those two princesses, sometimes they don't know what's it for, but they like it just as much anyway :) Then we would take videos while they sit impatiently waiting for instructions from their mother which box to open next. When they come to particular boxes that has so much wrapping on it, they'll become really frustrated, almost tearing the gift in half. This year koko thought of what gift to buy already, but I'm not going to until you two come back to Singapore. Think they'll love my gift, seeing how they like to dress up.

Merry Christmas to all!
Actually I like the current N8250, but after 8576048763086 knocks and just about that same number of trouser pocket dust attacks, its call function is about to spoil. On the good day, it'll call and respond calls like normal. On a bad day, it might take about another drop or two to wake up.
That's why you should sms instead of calling me.
Unfortunately the older K700i has been sent on permanent attachment overseas, so weekends are tad boring without the ability to roam the streets and snap like there's no tomorrow.
It hasn't arrived yet, but say hello to our newest member.
Many a times during my course of service in the Singapore Armed Forces, I've time and yet again tried to contribute my best to the army, not caring is I'm paid $468 per month of allowance, not caring for the countless time I get the black face from superiors, their grunts of disapproval.
Sure, they are there for keeps, most of them blindly lead into the service, and in the end want to back out but too late. What else to do but to move head on, and bully the next lower class of people --- the NSFs.
Issue today is actually not about how screwed up the regulars are --- though that can be an issue we can discuss forever. Its about NSFs who are too blindly lead into service, sometimes to the point of no hope when we realise what we ever talk about is only the shit that happens inside. Even when they move out of the camp vincity, the only stuff in common among colleagues will be office politics, gossips of who is going to transfer out, what events and happenings that are coming next and of course tactics to avoid these ridiculously foolish events designed solely for one purpose, that is to waste tax-payers money.
Then again, we can talk forever on how we waste tax-payers money.
One of the most-hated colleagues gave a treat last week, the evening just before his actual birthday. And he choosed to invite who he thinks is the closest of the lot along, share the joy, if I may put it that way. We ate japanese, and all was fine. Fine meaning he was yet again nonplussed by the rate at which we are verbally abusing him.
At this point in time I must really congratulate the birthday boy concerned on his amazing ability to completely ignore our constant playing down on him.
Then another colleague from our neighbouring department came in and joined us. All of a sudden, the topics of conversion changed to those of office talks. Like wow. We don't need much, just 2 fellows who have practically no life, add a pinch of army, and there you go, office politic speak.
I'm certainly not condoning people who make the effort to bring up conversations on the dinner table --- infact, I love to see people chat in a frenzy to the point that they forget there's food --- but you don't need to bring the office to the outside on somebody's birthday, do you? But this was exactly what was happening!
I always differentiated people according to 2 groups. One that is best pals whom you can say the worse things to them, but they'll shrug it off. These are people for keeps whom you can confide in them your most terrible nightmares. But of course theres the other group - office cows who are friendly. You have common goals -- not in life, but at work. These people talk about nothing except their work. Their discussion range is big, and it goes a far as where work will reach them.
I pity for the second group. Really. And those two that I mentioned are true-blue second-group guys. I'd feel awful for saying this, but please, do get a life.
I thought I'd put in a new look for the new year coming round the corner. Just too bad I don't have the american time to go build a Christmas theme for the season. Always love the WordPress look, so I guess this isn't too bad for now until I change the front banner. Aw damn I hate to leach bandwidth from other pricks.
Just finished this Taiwanese Idol drama.

Its about this pop-idol (yes, as in he's also a pop idol called 便当 in the drama itself), who had always wanted a more normal life. He was supposed to marry his bridge, but too bad she ran away on the wedding day itself. Obviously he lapsed into a freakin depression for quite a bit until one of his makeup assistant fell into love with him. Then goes the courting of girl after boy-who-is-too-screwed-about-his-failed-marriage.
There were quite a few hiccups, but in the end it wasn't a happy ending for all. Very touching story, one of the rare few that made me drop a few tears towards the end. One of the other reasons I like this show is cos of the soundtracks. Hey, they do make-or-break my impression on the show. Lovely stuff.

I'm typing alot of random non-stimulating shit nowadays. Pardon me.
One of the last duties in the year, and on a Hari Raya. Since I don't celebrate, might as well spend it in camp (and get a free day off-in-lieu) that I can use next year to count to my annual leaves, which is like...3 days?
DO was great --- friendly, though not exactly eye-candy. Really, which female would want to sign on if she has the looks that make the cut. She'd be a model strutting the New York runway by now.
So I didn't do much yesterday. Hmm...updated my laptop's software, and crashed it a couple of times cos of overheating (Acer, you make lousy laptops). Then I watched a couple of movies, finally finished Supernatural Season 2. Lucky there wasn't a cliff-hanger. Both of the brothers survived, both cheated death, and Sam is probably now a walking-thinking zombie more than a human.
Maaan..what would I give to take my morning dump right now.
Tis the season for weird happenings. Around 2 people I know have broken up with their girlfriends, one more I know got rejected by this lady.
Went over to Jared's place (overnight, we were quite noisy, I dunno how his parents could take the amount of noise from the gun shots and golf swings on the Wii and the WoW Board Game).
Found new pron blogs (hahahahahha! like you'll believe)
I'm done crapping on the internet. Okthxbye.
4.10 am on a Sunday morning. My entire chinese song collection's been shuffling since morning. Almost done with project. Left with narration.
On a different note, one of the hamsters died. The smell was horrible. I should have thought of it sooner, with all the ants running around and that new weird smell. Poor thing, one of its eyes got gorged out. And damn it was heavy to even throw away.
Sad.
