Happy New Year!

By limboy
To those who happen to come by this blog regularly, Happy New Ang-Moh Year! I actually have a standby post waiting for my editing, that's supposed to be out by 6pm today, but went out with Serene & HL today to celebrate his birthday. Which also incidentally let him to be able to visit all pubs today, and drink. Yah! Drink after shoving his IC up the bouncers' ass. Happy Birthday, boy! Anyway, the post will be out soon. Watch this space!

Make your wishes and resolutions quick!

My resolutions for 2006:

1. Get fitter, ie. 6-packs if I can.
2. Widen my social circle
3. Be close to a Debian guru as much as possible
4. Read at least 100 books, novels included
5. World Peace! (BAH! Get Bush out of the White House will do)
6. Watch more movies
7. Somehow try to remain single. heehee
8. Buy a gay-repellent ody spray. My life tend to have gays revolve around me. SOMEHOW.

Happy New Year to you too!

Year 2004-2005

By limboy
It's a record 2 years in my entire 18 (close to 19) that I spent so much money on foolscap paper alone. Comparing with the 4 years in Anderson when I was sort of slacking working considerably hard. Along the way, I met many interesting people. Some I hate, some I loved, some I cannot live without, some I wish will drop off the edge of the Earth if it was a cube. This post tracks down the people I have met, loathed, befriended. Your name's not there simply because my pea-sized memory cannot hold so many people. Thanks to friendster for not allowing me any slack.

P15:

Kok Hui - He's a genius. but solely for books. Many thought I won't know a social retard like him, budden he's the first person I made some kind of contact with when I stepped into Yishun JC, other than the obvious Nicholas and Kok Jian.

Daniel Yap - Nice is an understatement. He used to gang with Zhi Chao, but after ZC had to go poly, the 'fmaths-gang' split. He's more contented with his girlfriend in school ever since. Nonetheless, brilliant.

Zhi Chao - You can't beat this chap. One of the main reasons why I'm so vocal in school --- coz he egged me on all the time. You can't simply watch a clown go around as if nothing is happening, right? I loved his company because he's never boring. But his aggregate didn't managed to keep him in junior college, so he choosed to go singapore poly.

Mao Qing - The Ultimate Happy-Go-Lucky Chinatown boy. Mao's his name, mole's his game. If I'm not wrong, he has a certain mole somewhere on his face. OK. That doesn't matter. Great on the guitar, even better on crap talk. The chinese teacher was had called him MAO. Hair. Might have been his contantly-exploding hair style.

Ian Lo - I kinda forgot the chinese name we called him. But Ian wasn't what we called him. Abeit handsome and socialble, I couldn't click well with him, other than the morning's greeting.

Ibnu - Ibu FiFi. We loved that. He's funny, you know. The class didn't have a chairman, so he volunteered. "aiyah aiyah! Noone wants to be the monitor, so I be lor. No choice." And we know he really means it cos his expression cannot possibly hide anything on his mind. Takes on all the responsibility though he knows perfectly well that he doesn't have to. And he blames us all the same. And we know he doesn't mean it.

Div - Indian-Chinese Rocker. He's the only one I know who don't mind have more than 2 girls at one time. As if he can concentrate. He calls it 'playing the field', the last time I chat with him. Popular, smart, charistmatic. Wished my personality could be like him =)

Hui Lyn - Sweet jovial girl. Didn't make any noise as far as I rmbed, though I swear some of the girls bullied her sometimes. Still sends me spam, but I appreciate them. Thanks!

Karen Lin - The skinniest runner Singapore has. She signed up for the X-country the school had, and the class was going "AHHH??????!!!". And I think she got first or something. Pretty, outspoken, the arch rival of all soft girls. Often seen bullying Pei Lyn for being too soft.

Ra'bia - Love you, minah! hahahaha. (I think she'll box me for that) She would have loved to stay but choosed the poly, cos the marks didn't allow her, and the course in poly is more promising. Still sends me smses, and i spam her too. =)

P11:

Jun Kiat - I thought he's a nice guy when I first laid my eyes on him, then a few interactions later, I thought he's gay. Seriously. Kiat has one of those broken-wrist syndrome, and being best friends with Kor Ting doesn't add any cookies to his seemingly empty basket, adding onto the gay-factor. Despite my not-so-friendly gestures towards him, Kiat either has a good heart or poor memory (like mine), we're like best pals when bumping into each other in the canteen.

Kor Ting - TomBoy. Never talked to her much.

Jasmine - I wished your periods don't get in between much of your life, or you could be breaking up with everyone of your close guy-friends. Guessed I was just another puddle of water in your way huh? you big sponge! =) Oh yeah sure, weird guys suit your taste buds well. Ok lah. WhatEVER lah! If she sees this, I'm dead.

Rebecca - She runs. Sometimes too often for her own good, so Becca's kinda accident prone especially around the knee cap area. Sporty, smart. That's a good 2 words to describe her. Closer to outdoors than human beings.

XinYi - I think I only managed to make fun of her more than seriously talk about anyting close to schoolwork.

Ricky - His name is Hrikriesh, if I don't rmb wrongly. Fun to be around, cos he's always the little street-smart boss controlling the troll (Elan).

Elan - Troll. Useful guide if I ever go India. Friendly, gives up quite easily, but catches up really fast to the point of being scary if he got the hang of things.

Kang Chi - Lights up my day when I step into class in the morning. Okay, even if he doesn't speak much, KC softened almost all tense situations which are really common. Read : Russia VS India

Pavel : Russian Hitman. Never really like him, Just put up with him for the sake of not worrying Jas. Sounds lame, huh? If I had the choice, I would have thown everything away, whack the haughtiness out of him, and change the Apple Tea drink to green tea. Cos the apple tea was making his mouth stink so much, I had to hold my breath everytime I talked to him.

Yungdy - Loved this guy. Super lame. It's uber happy-mood when he's happy, and uber-sad when he's not. Very down to earth, and helps Pavel bully Thomas all the time. Talking about fellow countryman-ship.

Thomas - I know I should reserve this slot for 108 slot, but I want to reveal a secret NOW! He's a Sleep-During-Lecture Guru. And amazingly, he slept through his two years in Yishun, making him one of the smartest handsomest eligible hunk bachelor.

Wei Png - Hate you, you sonofabitch. Always the attention seeking one, he thinks he's suave, smooth talker, smart. Never did he thought himself as the exact opposite. And he's prefect tag, joke it is, isit?

Vivek - He ponned school like its Vivek Junior College. Dunno him well enough to have any comments.

108:

Sumardi - Despite my bad attitude towards Karimun's most flamboyant gay, we all know I adore love him. Never boring with him around cos he'll either entertain us with his latest cold joke he learnt from dunno-where-from, or at least try to mimick his best friend in class with the latest hotest acronym coined. Like *cough*ninja*cough* and *cough*nubs*cough*.

Zhi Hao - The rumoured minutest ninja that popped out from a stone, and sent his spies in Iraq to expose that noobish hide-and-seek player we call Saddam Hussein. Almost the best mood starter born since Bill Gate's romp with Lewinski, Zhao's the best company around I had for a long while.

Zhen Peng - I'm court-ordered by 108 to say bad things of ZP. "He's a low-life scum of the universe not fit to go school. Not that he attended many days." I always thought he's more street-smart than books-smart, which is good. The teachers might not appreciate this.

Andy Pan - He's tall, he's funny, he's the high-life scammer who thinks not-too-much, acts not-too-much, but talks too much. =) Personally, I think Andy has everythng well-planned out. Just a matter of time before he chooses to become the underground world boss of Yishun, and kill all Dragon babies. He hates them. JC life wouldn't be interesting without him, I swear.

Edward C. Widjaya- The C's short for Cow. I have a song for him:

I am cow, hear me moo
I weigh twice as much as you
And I look good on the barbecue
Yogurt, curd, cream cheese and butter’s
Made from liquid from my udders
I am cow, I am cow, hear me moo (moo)

I am cow, eating grass
Methane gas comes out my ass
And out my muzzle when I belch
Oh, the ozone layer is thinner
From the outcome of my dinner
I am cow, I am cow, I’ve got gas

I am cow, here I stand
Far and wide upon this land
And I am living everywhere
From b.c. to newfoundland
You can squeeze my teats by hand
I am cow, I am cow, I am cow
I am cow, I am cow, I am cow!

Chengyi - He calls himself Idiot. I have no idea why. LCY's version of life is unique. He secretly admires the cast of Happy Tree Friends, I supposed, so that's the analysis I have for him when he laughs like mad when some joker in class describes the latest adventures of Snuffy (assuming that's the name of one of the characters). He's smart, and he hates to admit it. "I never staaardy!!! Oh no! I'm gonna fail [the latest physics test]!!" And he ends of up getting A's. Liar!

Lugman - Malay. Pretend to be chinese, then sneak up on everybody chinese. Then tell everybody he's a malay after asking him loads of questions in chinese.

Chao Yang - If he were blond, then that makes him a blond pirate. Kinky. Flat-brain-ded footed, so what? At least he runs better than another particular ass we all know in school who's also flat-footed.

Yong Joel - He's a PR wannabe. I have no idea why I have that impression now. Hey. If you think for a moment, that by giving that goofy grin all the time, you can please everyone, please step off the balcony. You have terrible teeth, by the way . Known everywhere as hardworking, not smart, he asks rather non-intelligent questions. I can't stand hardworking people. Correct, I'm also implying that I can't stand his very incredibly strange attitude. He tries to be the big boss when nobody wants to, does a terrible job of giving ideas, gets everyone to hate him, then attempt to redeem himself by saying "aiyah, it's what I think lah. What you all think is ehh..." Like wtf.

BJ - Parijat. Blow Job. Whatever lah. Made-In-India. Loves Singapore, and our food. No doubt handsome, he has a deep dark secret of an active smoker. If you see him, try to talk him out, eh?

Abigail - Lovely lady. I think life would be boring without her around. I think of her closer to a smart dark-haired bimbo than a pig. Really. Never boring with her as company, because she'll bore you with the details of her boring life, and make you think life is so much interesting when your date with her is over. HA.

Bern - She's too thin for a malay girl. Eat more, girl. Then will score even better with the boys. =)

Fit - Adore her. Some schoolmates I know try to spread rumours that she's lesbian, cos she's always hanging around this floorball mate, acting butch. Hello??!! Please hor. If you think for a minute that she's lesbian, stop. You also can step off the balcony alidi. Fit has a strange habit. Keep clear of her in the early mornings, and afternoon. She'll stone in the morning, ie everything you say to her, ask her, will bounce off with replies like :"err. yah. ok." She'll get very very high in the afternoons, especially after lunch before classes. Then she'll try all sorts of funny things like putting her pictures into your wallets, picking up fights with boys thrice her height, insulting the teacher's reproductive organs...you guess.

Dawn - JC defect! She's smart, both in maths and jumping boat to poly. Last heard she's quite happy in poly. All the best.

Clare - Like a big sister, except she's also crazy, a bit blur, and just as tiny in size. I can never fanthom the fact that she's the daughter of a young father called Zhi Hao. I think Clare's fun to be with. Just that her personel ethics limit how much her nonsense can go to.

Mun - Munsy! She abandoned her blog for her boyfriend. *sobs* Hope she comes back soon.

Kim - Tall. I think she's funny. If she'd never mentioned that she's one year senior, I would have thought she's same age as us. One of the few who come away from ZP's flirtings unscathed, I laugh at the way she attacks ZP. Whenever we see her, she'll complain of the work that avalanched her life. Still one of the few who spam my phone. Love yoU! haha.

203:

Sin Wee - He's tall, he's rich, he's handsome. But no girl seems to be falling onto his heels. I wonder if it's his down-to-earth attitude, or isit his heck-care attitude. Either way, WeeWee's not charismatic, some even thought he's autistic. How can an autistic boy run the huge empire built by his forefathers, right? heh heh

Benson - In terms of social-retardedness, Benson ranks second. But he's smart. Another smartass Quiet. Unsocialble.

Shu Ting - Amiable. She really should call herself Amy instead. The type who can carry a dozen pom poms then pretend to be shy, and quickly throw all the pom poms away into the next friend's arms, saying : "mei you !!mei you!! bu shi wo!!" (nonono!!it wasn't me!) [who wants to be a cheerleader]

Chaw Su - I dunno why. She likes to bully me. OF COURSE I don't cry. Real boys men don't cry. I shivered. Shivered throughout the year to withstand the lame jokes she tries to crack. Never the sort who gets too friendly, except with her sworn sister.

Swee Lian - We call her Ah Lian. Girlfriend of *drums roll* The Polar Bear! RUmours has it that they are dating each other, except that this rumour is not exactly a secret. Technically, I supposed to have known Lian since primary one, cos she's studying only next door. Budden age caught up with me, so I have to reminded of my trumatic childhood in primary school with her as a schoolmate. Amazingly, she still remembers the graduation song some old guy played when we left the school. How's that for potentially remembering grudges?

Tiff - Besides being a not-so kick-ass kungfu fighter, I can only imagine her as the female kungfu star in Kungfu Hustle.

Krishna - Time to reveal our alltime favourite Indian of the year. Lord K!!!! God he tries hard to deflect the racist jokes we shoot at him. K's favourite activity would then be trying to insult the mungens. Claims he's North Indian, so that makes him a Brahmin, which I doubt any Jalan Ulu-Ulu temple will accept him.

Yue Chuan - I've offcially been labelled SQUISHY by this bastard. Might have been after he showed me his prowness with BT by showing one of his collections of movies (one of them being Finding Nemo, where the heck can you find anywhere else calling things/people SQUISHY without getting a bruise, eh?) If you need a programmer who complains, talks lots of nonsense, tear the world down and yet can still complete a whole project down within time, look no furthur. Ask him.

Shu Qiang - Socially bastard-dised retard who knows zilt of interaction. Favourite activity? Study. [which kinda keeps this para short alidi]

Dedi/Anthony - As much as I would love to keep them seperate, I can't. Handsome, of course (which is by itself an absurd fact) you can't seperate both of them. It's like glue with glue. Looks wise both have their individuallity. One is balding, the other comes everything back with loads of air sacs between to hide little hair he has. *remember, shawn...impartial to either!* Anthony likes to call everybody HAND--SUUURRM. Be warned that you can be good-looking, but NEVER more handsome than gua. *evil laugh*

Ee Boon - I never knew he's the type who wash dishes. During chalet, Boon shocked me with his fastidious dishwashing entics. Dirty dishes I woudl normally throw away, he picked them up and went to work. Now he's washing dishes earning a living. Other than that, Boon has a cheen-chye attitude everyone seem to love. Behold the benign behaviour as what lies underneath is a big monster waiting to kill upon the first chance.

Alvin - Bah. Nice, but too loser-ish.

Jeffery - I never got the hang of typing out his name. Too long and way too many variations, so I cut short, and used "Boss" as his name in my mobile contact list. Now everybody knows I know him as Boss. [Him the monitor, and me the vice] So when I say pass this-this-this to Boss, they know. See? The evil mastermind, playing the weak puppet with strings and canes to keep him sane. Boss's the kind who motivates people to study, and yet you'll never be too shy to ask people questions he doens't dare to ask, cos the questions will make him seem damn weak. Like Chicken Little standing on something less....maybe his own feathers. *OMG. I just read my last para, and it doesn't for fking's sake make sense.* Admittedly Jeff's love life is a mess. Mess of sand. All sand. Like Sahara Desert. Of course you don't suspect that he's gay. You'll get sacked by the Boss. [side note: girls love him, bu he doesn't like those girls. Then again, YJC 2005 has a record bunch of ugly girls. All the way higher than the prices of oil barrels. So we can't blame him even if he turns gay hor?]

------

That about rounds up the people I met in class. There's about 999 more pending. Maybe I'll leave that to next time century. Again, if you don't see your name here, spam me to edit this post. 2004/2005 had really been a great year of ups and downs. Thanks guys for the support when I was down, and sharing the fking joy when I was high , and restraining me when I was about to rape people.

Cherish it forever. =)

Baby, do I look fat in this (fill in the blank)?

By limboy
This is seriously funny. So I think every girl should learn something from this, and stop nagging their bfs for not answering correctly. Anyway, most girls shouldn't face this problem if they're attached. Cos they are just too stick-thin, so most are seen nursing their bruises when they are blown off, smacking into the nearest angsana tree. Picture the train that got blown off.

Nightmare

By limboy
I had a nightmare 2 nights ago. Abigail Kok (yes, the pig-looking one) was pointing and laughing at me, almost to the extent of bending over kind of ROFL.

"HAHAHAHA...you also celebrate Christmas Day?!!"

I'm not kidding. If she does that to people in real life, I think someone should whack her head with a 10m crowbar.

Christmas Presents

By limboy
The food, the people, the noise, and who can ever not include the presents. It's the essence of the festivity. Just like in Chinese New Year or Hari Raya Puasa, we get the multi coloured packets. At the end of the day, kids don't look at the packaging or anything liddat. It's the contents. Smaller than what their parents give them, and you'll be officially labelled an old miser. The usually very effective method to stop these naughty children from ever repeating this atrocious label to your relatives, will be to pack a packet which contents to be twice the nett amount than this years, next year. One caution. It MUST be done the next year, lest your OLD MISER label will be like Elephant-Brand Super-Uber Glue stuck to every inch of your body.

For my case of christmas present exchange this year, it seems to be much better on the whole. I had a Converse Wallet from auntie wk, a box of silk hankies from auntie wh, a box of levis socks and *drums roll* underwears! from auntie wc, a facial wash from wendy jj, a 1" book from uncle s, another box of underwear from ma (besides the levis jeans she bought at seremban), plenty of love from grandma. That's about it!

Gave an rebok bottle to cousin zy, an erasable drawing pad to Callista, and The Thing mask to Emberlynn. But they spoiled my present cos Emby got scared by the mask when she saw it on her mother's neck, instead of her mummy. Now The Thing's collecting some dust in my room.

=.=

Post some pictures tmr.

For the Debian 2.6.14 . Heh heh. Uncle helped me fixed, so now I have almost bleeding edge architecture. Cos the last time I saw, it was 2.6.12 kernel. Was busy watching over Callista. If not, it was Emberlynn. (I bluffed. Lazy to go see what he was doing with the command line, besides, it kinda irks anyone who is touching the PC, to bother him all the time.)

Didn't do much to beautify the background. Have been installing the extras onto the new kernel engine. Thumbnails. Click to enlarge.

Yawn

By limboy
I really would love to update a loooooooooooong entry. But the right hand is killing me from the 25min intimate affair with the computer mouse. Besides, Bro's room got painted freakin' striking peach. Back, stomach, arms, neck all exhausted.

Debian got installed by Uncle Steve er..2 days ago. Yeah. 1 month away from maths has finally got to me. Same with that Other Operating System which so far is rather a dork tend to. Not a choice lah. Either its gaming to pwn or be pwned by It (notice the upper-case).

And Debian somehow gave up on me after the latest upgrades to the software this morning. The XServer got screwed, though I noticed only the CUPS service got affected immediately after the installation. So now not only do I NOT have any GUI on Debian, WinXP didn't get registered on GRUB when I boot the computer.

Have to rely on the good'o'trusty Knoppix till I copy a certain XConfig-4 file over to Debian.

And I thought 638MB of stuffs will do the pc long lasting good for the rest of the week.

*heaves a huge sigh*

Flustered

By limboy
One word to describe me after the holiday.

Agitated - Nose is bitching me again. Hay Fever hits me almost every morning. Dust is everywhere though Bro's at home, probably mucking away at the pc for the last week plus. So everthing's covered with an inch worth of grey.

Confused - err. a very old er... Period.

Excitement - I no longer drive like a noob. I can drive! Need to work on the smoothness from free gear to first gear. Occasionally I jerk the clutch and send my right foot into a frenzy. Isn't driving fun? Yes. Learnt to walk at Grandma's, and now I learnt how to drive at the same place that taught me how to walk. Lemme see. Short of parallel parking, turning the corner at scary speeds (Aunt kept on nagging me when I hugged the 90º corners at more than 30kph) I pretty much got everything covered. Yep. Including trying the 3-point turn while attempting the reverse gear for the first time. Then I got a warning to go at 40kph only, after I took a small straight street at 60kph. "Learners got limit one, okay? People got L plate one go only 40kph. You no L plate, no P plate want to go higher than 50 on a small street ah??"

Yeah. Driving's fun. =)

Holiday

By limboy
Due for another one of the local holidays. Leaving for Grandma's this morning...err. As soon as Ma comes out from the toilet, then we'll be driving to Aunt's to pick up the Australians (hahaha). Might not be back for another week. Though Seremban is just 100KM outside KL, I don't think the internet there is acceptable. Acceptable being anything higher that 56kbps. That's soooooo yesterday :)

Comatose-Blogs
will be in good hands of Farhaha. (Still waiting to see a few post before I set her up as the third admin) She's funny enough. You should check out her main blog.

Model-Building

By limboy
I built models before, not literally your Naomi Watts or Claudia Schiffer. But models of planes, cars, re-enactment of sports models like Porche, Mercedes-Benz Coupes, some using the actual plastics and all, others using Lego. ANd at the end of the day, I have my kid cousins running to me, begging to built them buses just so they have something to play in my house. Then I tried a lot of models of busese. Not your Volvo or Merc or Man brands, but more to double-deckers, bendy-buses, ten-wheelers, small sized 20-seater buses.

None of these prepared me for actual sports car building. Just 15 minutes ago, I cleaned up my desk, reappeared from my den, threw in the towel after almost 3 hours on this model:

The Brother bought it about 2 days ago. He single-handedly built the back chasis of the *cough*suspension*cough* which I had to tear apart today, because he missed out a crucial stabiliser just below the suspension. Actually, he's quite good, but you see, he missed the stabiliser because he did not read instructions. So a miny lesson you learnt today, from lim-boy.blogspot.com is always to read instructions if you're not sure. Being able to drive all computer cars easily does not mean you know how a car works, much less how to built one without instructions. There's a fkng reason why your standard exam papers has a "PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY". Anyways, that's not the point. THe point is, he left quite a bit of superglue marks on the chasis of the wheel's dork, making me feel uneasy due to the stains. And then also reduce my moral from D24 durain sized to rasins while I was constructing the front suspension.

I swore I broke something, making the whole car seem to wobble if you set in on the table too hard. Then all the wheels can also come out one, so unsightly. I asked him 2 days ago when he started on the *cough*rear suspension*cough* what's the price of the set.

"$24." (or something like that)

Yes. Despite myself, I secretly love the Skyline GT-R, and loathe the Subaru WRX STi. Because the GT-R screams when pushed. STi grunts when pushed. I hate grunting cars.

Name change. Or maybe just a little bit.

I was thinking whenever on the keyboard, that MARCUS, sounds a lot like MUCUS. Perhaps you can call your MARCUS-friends MUCUS. If they turn their head, you know you got their names right. And rightfully so for their remaining lifetime.

I got the shock of my life when I heard that Div and Del are going out together. All thanks to WeiJun, my dinner didn't go down quite smoothly. No. I'm not jealous or anything. (Anyway, why should I? hurhur :) ) Frankly, they don't seem very pleasant to imagine as holding hands, walking-down-a-dimly-lit-street kind. BTW, I cna't be bothered to find any photos of the two of them. Fine if you know them, else, faaaaaark off,. You being kpo will make my dinner shoot out from my ass, not to mention theirs. Del prolli dropped hints on her blog, or maybe I read too briefly to notice anything.

I hereby declare ZX a ignorant bastard. haha.

****

As usual when people have cleaned their room, made finish their plans, watched all the movies in the world, spent all their money on ridiculous items like a new belt (??? <--for the prom lah, that's all I can rmb), blogged on almost everything under the sun already, flipped through the daily papers, played finish the games that matter --- and cannot seem to complete the rest of the games, he'll think of the past. I've been thinking of some of the things that I've done, said, fought, especially with friends --- sibling fights don't count. We fight almost everyday. All the past people I've said things, hurtful things, silly things, ridiculous things, hardcore jokes, lame things, lovey-dovey things. And people. Really. People. Actually, it's person. The first person I ever said it to.

I guess it doesn't matter. Unless I change my ways, and dare to say what I said --- again, it'll never change, becoming just another memory. I really have to get a job to get my mind off things. Learn to drive.

Ignorance isn't bliss, I'm telling you.

No Space!

By limboy
This sounds weird.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I need disk space. Apparantly, while I was transfering the songs from the Windows partition over to the Linux partition, there isn't enough space. Got the shock of my life.

You see, I have my songs on Windows partition so that I can play my songs on both Linux and Windows. Windows is weak. It cannot for its life read any partitions other than it's own pervertic NTFS and FAT32, wheras other OSes like OSX, all flavours of Linux, even Sun can read all popular extensions. So obviously, Windows can only see half of the actual size of the 80GB (which I set previously), ie, the blue part you see at the top picture.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

The formidable hard drive is really not big enough. The other 40GB-disk is as good as useless. The pointers for that disk is all over the place, so when I play a song that's called

Stevie Wonder - You Are the Sunshine of My Life.mp3

it'll play second part of Sammi Cheng's Mei Li Ran Shao followed by Spice Girl's Wannabe. Think I'll buy another 80GB, throw out the old hdd, shove the songs into the new one, upgrade the OSes, (yeah...including The Other Operating System) and be crazy-happy for the next 3 months.

Hectic Schedule

By limboy
Due for TWO bbqs today. I'm telling you, I have awesome friends. Floorball peeps, namely just Malek (muahahahhaa) sms-ed me yestesday to order me to hang out with him at the bbqs. You see, I have a bbq that Farhan's having. His 19th birthday, I think. Then there's Alvin's bbq. My senior's senior --- 2 years older lah. I think Alvin came out from camp a few months ago. Really envy him. He completed camp, has the results, and more free time to burn, next to throwing them around (if you can even do that). If I can do the same 2 years later, it'll be awesome.

Forgive me, I'm rambling again on my old keyboard. At aunt's house, you see. And I happened to have given her my old S$12 compaq keyboard. Its a good keyboard. Bouncy on the fingers. Good response time. Solid keys, yet good enough to move around without the typist getting cramps from moving the pinkies. Very quiet on the ears. More importantly, black. YET CHEAP. $12 but feels like $112. I shouldn't have given away. Nevermind. See if I can get another cheap deal when I go SLS with Kzk later. (he needs a SLS tour-guild, it seems.)

So that's SLS trip till around 3.45pm. Orchard hangout at CJ, Val, Malek. I dunno why meet at Orchard. Buy presents or something, I suppose. 2 bbqs. At Coasta Sands, then Pasir Ris. THe girls are staying over at Alvin's. Send Malek home, then I come back again.

It's so convinient to live in the East.
