Awefully hot day today. It's hot everyday. I beginning to miss the few days when it rained like crazy. Lectures hall only provided the temporary relieve of the heat, but lecture's so rare now in year 2. Saved for Computing. Had aircon for every session of it. Physic's in the small LT. Maths too.

I'm think I'll be going crazy soon. Everywhere's hot. Everywhere got people milling around. And Black Shirts are so many, they obscure the White's (uniformed J2s/J1 retainees) view. At least they don't speed down every corner like primary school kids. So we don't have to do the NFSU stunt to dodge them.

But being black does prove a hindrence --- very hard to see.

Man it's hot.

That reminds me the infatuation of *jackie and KzK to look at cute J1 girls. I thought they were bad, but ended up Kdmt's worse. He's looking for even cuter girls. Prolli should look in the "CATS" section of the pet shop, cos so far I didn't see YJ admin accept an cat's enrolment in tertiary institutions.

Only Changyi remained as sexless as a monk. Hmm...even monks have sexual fantasies. So that makes Changyi worse? Mayeb he's like a plant --- all oxygen (and CO2)and water --- and no sex. Wrong. Even plants have sex!

Oh no. We need a new classification for Changyi. How's "FATS"? As in "CATS"?

Meow....

Personally, I wouldn't have liked to flame Navin, our 'fav' lab technician. Izit the problem with some indians? Or are lab technicians this bad? I didn't remember Mr Chua being this slack while he was still in Anderson. OK. Maybe his appearance gave us the impression that he's not the kind to walk alot.

So anyway, Navin promised our dear Mrs Liang to finish cloning our computers in the lab so that we can finsih our mock coursework. Lemme see. He "promised" last Wednesday? OK. He can continue slacking, though. SO I won't ahve to do that horrible coursework.

I thought the people at floorball are quite ok, until one fine day spoilt it.

It's after training at 5pm. At I supposed 2 hours of training under the fucking sun has burnt their brians and cocks.SO after training, they couldn't decide on whether they should play floorball or not. The only probable place they could use was the squash court. Cos the fuckers at badminton were still training, and practically took every damn space.

*I'm tired of using vulgarities.

So everyone's tired and don't want to check. Then they kept pushing around who to check for the squash court's availablility. SO your's truely kept quiet cos he obviously doesn't want to go help them check --- partly cos he wants to go home already. So with my water bottle which is now hot thanks to the baking by the sun, I walked off to top up after declaring that I'm NOT GOING TO CHECK.

As I was almost gone, our dear Royce said something like "WAH LAO....WANT TO PLAY AND STILL DON'T WANT TO CHECK!" --- behind my back.

Dear Fucker. Please reconfirm with what's left of your brain cavity and cells registration that I'M NOT GOING TO PLAY LIKE A SICK ASS TILL 8 PM WHEN CHANCES THAT I HAVE TO CARRY THE STICK BAG HOME AGAIN IS CLOSE TO 100%. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BRING BACK ANYTHING AND WITH THAT FUCKING ATTITUDE LIKE YOUR'S and I DOUBT YOU'LL EVER FIND ANY RESPONSIBILITIES THAT WILL COME YOUR DAMN WAY. SO YOU JOLLY WELL SHADDAP AND KEEP THAT STICK UP YOUR BLOODY ARSE. OH YEAH. BTfW, USING SHAFFI'S STICK AND SCORING THAT FEW MISERABLE GOALS DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE GOOD, AND IT'S NO BIG DEAL. YOU ARE JUST DAMN LUCKY. And personally, I don't appreciate your tyco goals.

SO after topping my bottle, I decided to just drop by the squash court to see if it's empty --- for the sake of Izzah. She was so bored during our training that she decided to sun-tan herself in the 4-oclock sun.

Ended up the court was being used.

Then I walked back to those sad-dified floorballers, and told them the courts's full. Guess what John said?

"YOU SO SLOW!! I ALREADY GOT MY PIGEONS TO FLY THERE AND COME BACK AND TELL ME THE NEWS LORH!"

Uhhh.... PLease --- PIGEONS.

OK. This was probably just a joke. I could take it lah. But it's when everyone starts to shout at you that you are SLOW that I can't take it. In the very screwed attitude and tone too.

I mean what the fuck man. Since you don't like it, next time I'll be less nice round lor. Then all you people will find your lifes screwed in floorball.

BTW, John did run after me to appologise when I just walked off --- I dont' blame him, but something like this, I can't take everyday. YESH. AND Royce, YOU SUCK. I don't care if anyone sees this adn tell him this. But YOU ROCK at being a COMPLAIN KING and a GOOD-FOR-NOTHING. Basically likened to an empty un-recycle-ble bottle good for one thing --- chucking into space cos mother earth don't take such bullshit like you.

I wish you luck with your social skills.

I actually forgot it's Hasyir's birthday yesterday. Nevermind...he'll get it. 18 years old means he'll get 18 punches --- on the shoulder. Make sure his shoulder drops off.

GeePee lessons rocks. Nevermind that it's in the AVA room, which is reputated to be a LIVE! cold room --- the kind that can refreeze your ice-cream back. And nevermind that Mrs G is re-going thru the AQ component of comprehension.

J1s who are reading this will be wondering WTF is AQ. You'll understand the terror when the time comes.

It's more like the fact that Mrs G is able to talk damn fast. Think in terms of Mrs Dhillion, our favourite PW teacher who got kidnapped by RJC. I couldn't already catch what Mrs Dhillion was saying, so people like Sumardi and Parijat will witness the multiple accounts when I had to ask Mrs D repeatedly "WHAT???"

Arbitualrily, Mrs Dhillion talks X-words per second.

Mrs G talks at 2X-words per second.

Nevertheless, yours truely has finally mastered how to sleep during lecture under Mrs G's nose --- and didn't get KZK caught for my sleeping. I'm a pro.

Mothers are terrible hairstylist advisers.

I was finally getting my haircut after much nagging from Ma since last weekend. SO I sat down at the salon, and my usual hairdresser, Jennifer "Aunty" came over with her scissors after settiling her son down, who came along with his mother and GameBoy.

Then Jennifer happy-happy cut-cut my hair and she was nearly done with my head, when this person popped into the shop. I was kinda half-asleep then, so I didn't bother.

When I opened my eyes, my Ma was standing next to Jennifer, giving her instructions to "CUT SHORTER!! CUT SHORTER!!". Wah lao. This woman. So nice already lor, then she has to come into the shop while on her way to the market to buy stuff, and give stupid instructions as to how my hair should look like.

I just told Jennifer to "IGNORE HER."

Too bad Jennifer thinks that Ma's the boss. So now I have a stroke so much higher, leaving my neck naked.

Moral of the story is that when grown-up kids are having their haircut in the salon, ALL mothers should be BANNED from entering. And as revenge, I shall not trim my hair for the next 6 weeks --- fuck Mrs G if she comments about my hair then.

I clocked 6KM this week on the track! Amazing feat, since I'm not too much a sprinter. Remembered the last time I ran about this distance was doing my own training, but I've got a strange Stinky Old Man to follow. He didn't ran fast and was the same speed that I usually run, so the slow jog that time really trained my calfs. Stinky Old Man gave up sprinting after a while so as to shake me off, and I literally stalked him for about 4KM.

Floorball training rocls yesterday. Never seen a bunch of people with so much energy. One thing though, they cant take to new stuff easily. As usual I was doing the umpire job, after CJ resigned from her hyperactive-ness and sat like a pig chatting up some J1 guy. The wasy they held their stick was horrendous. I know I held the stick the wasy they did about 10 months back when I joined floorball --- but I picked up and held my stick properly after the first training session lor!

So anyway, Armpit came in after his track training, and commented on the atrocious way they held their stick.

"Eh, Shawn. The way they hold their stick ahh...."

"Yah. Kow that. Told them alot of times, but still liddat."

Then by inspiration from Armpit, I shouted for them to stop.

"The next time I see your dominant hand hold your stick as you run, you do FIVE push-ups."

Then instantly, hands started changing. Johnathan and his friend were good. He already changed his hands before the game --- cos that was the first thing I taught them when they came last Wednesday.. The rest was horri-ter. (short for horrible-terrible, you dud). But after that people started holding the stick exactly opposite of what we expected. Then I started losing count of the number of pumpings I ordered.

Heng...at the end of the day, I can now confidently tell you that the boys we coach are ready to face the coach when he comes back from his pilgrimage.

That's IF he comes back providing that the rock in Mecca didn't collapse and kill all the Allah lovers.

My mood now is sooooo bad I swear I can punch anyone in the face and make him stay in the hospital for a year. No thanks to Dedi, when I could have spent my time more fruitfully. Dumb bugger.

And timetable was NOT NICE to me today. Jammed pack POS --- I wonder how people like Jeffery and Yue Chuan can cope. Don't even mention Hasyir. Crocodiles are immuned to horrible timetables.

And physics was shit. Made a stupid logical error, which I somehow figured out the last minute. Lost 5 marks because I couldn't differenciate between (1.25 +/- 0.10 ) and (1.25+/- 0.05). No comments needed, thx.

Still got training tmr, which is going to be FUBAR (kdmt 2004-2006). Doesn't sound too bad until one has to run 2.4km so well as if he's farting. Pretty cool, if one thinks of how he's like at the end of the year. You cna boast that you can shag someone for a whole 5 hours and not get tired.

BTW, floorball has overwhelming response, all thanks to 'publicity' team. No such popularity when I went in last year. Had max 8-10 lines, about 32-40 people including J2s. This year has 14 lines. 56++ people, excluding extras who somehow wished to skip the first training. Think some who intend to skip but still magically join YJC team. One jerk whom I think signed up, and was even talking to Izzah just before our training, but we didn't see him at all during training. C'mon. Training's no longer slack. Need the stamina. Have to run. No magic creature frog's gonna kiss you on your butt and tell you you will have the stamina of a horse when you kiss it's ass next. Tough year this year. Need to train like noone's business. And we boys need our gold this year.

I just recalled that Mr Ho required my help last week over his laptop, which XP got screwed...or more likely, XP screwed up the hard disk and it didn't boot like it was supposed to. Story went around the beginning of last week that Mr Ho's laptop crashed, and his most critical data's inside. Too bad he didn't exactly make any backup copies of it.

So during one of the lessons, he claimed to 'side-track'a bit while doing the corrections for the test paper. He asked if it's possible for one to recover his data if his OS has crashed his hard disk.

So a few people suggested shit like "reinstalling the XP lah!!". Others suggested "aiyah! Get a new laptop lah!".

It seems the possibly most outrageous idea coming from a bunch of 2005 YJC computing studies year 2 students, is one of them saying "use a bootable OS to recover your data lor!" I dunno how Mr Ho caught your's truely's idea, but the next day, he contacted me via SMS and asked me to help him out.

Being the gentleman that I am, of course I agreed to help out my teacher! Passed him 2 discs, MandrakeMove and Knoppix 3.2 --- F.O.C. Of course, after some hiccups all thanks to him, my discs got his stuff out. Then I felt so damn proud that I'm somewhere thru getting another Windowz die-hard addict to try out Linux!

All thanks to our dear Dedi, we now have extra homework to be handed in by tomorrow. You see, we have this system in 203: we are assigned 'buddies', or at least we find a partner and he/she will be our permanent buddy who sort of takes care of us. These buggers are then supposed to call up each other in case one of us is not around, and not to forget to collect homejoy for us during our MC days, then pass these homejoys to us when we come back --- all except for Dedi and Anthony, the 2 Indonesian bastards with APs (attitude problems).

Now these 2 are special cases: first of all, our dear Mrs Guna has a perfectly untarnished image of them since she was their PeeDoubleYou teacher last year. Of course, rumour has it they had hell a lot of 'fun' under Mrs G.

It so happened that Dedi and Anthony had chosen each other as buddies, (BTW, they ARE the discipline reps for 203) --- Fantastic combo, if you ask me. The system goes that if one of us were naughty during class, then Mrs G will punish his/her partner by assigning homejoy to them. By logical sense --- unless you're one of those sadistic freaks who love seeing other people doing homejoy ---you will be detered against doing anything "strange".

I digress.

"STRANGE" is a word Mrs G uses alot, to mention anything from out rageously funny to that of impossible.

OK. Coming back our dear Dedi and Anothony. It was agreed during one of our classes that if Dedi OR Anthony were to be naughty, WE will be their partners to share their pain.

Actually, its US who will be the partners to TAKE on their pains.

Dedi thus decided that his needed extra sleep today, so he woke up at 8am --- just in time to freshen up and reach school at 9am for physics lecture. Now make a wild guess who'll be responsible.

Right --- US.

Homejoy for us today --- "Why should I be on time for school?" 500 words by the following day. And you guessed it. Dedi goes away scot-free.

So bored. I'm having this acute pain in my mouth cavity again. Happens sometimes along the jaws, and last throughout the day unless I swallow a million painkillers at a time.

Azureus's working against me. I'm downloading MDK 10.1 official now thru the Bit Torrent network, but it seems I'm offering alot of upload instead of me downloading:

If I don't leave it overnight, it'll take me around a third of a month to finish off everything. Damn it.

Noticebly laughable thing (1):

If you had been hanging around me and Chao Yang during break times, you would have know that the Buddhist (CCY) and Taoist (me) have formed an alliance to deter against foreign influences from other religions.

Unfortunately, Tien Yuen either doesn't hear what he doesn't like to hear, or that he insisted that we change our minds, Tien Yuen has sooo kindly and 'secretly' gave CCY a book on Christianity.

We had thought CCY had hit upon a rock-rich friend when Tien Yuen offered him a free boxed version of Half-Life 2. Tien Yuen even offered to drop by CCY's house in Jalan Ulu-Ulu and pass him this game as his Christmas present. Stupid CCY then waited --- and waited --- and waited, though not in suspense nor excitement (according to my acute 6th sense). The day came when school re-opened. Everyone grew mentally, if not physically for some. (BTW, Alvin is now taller than ever!) And a few days later, CCY finally received his package.

I got quite suspicious when CCY showed off the box to me, and it was unusally heavy for any box-ed game.

Then the horrors when CCY brought it home to find a thick book underneath the 5 discs. Not just any books, but one about christianity.

*frozen* Enough said. I kindly required CCY to burn the book.

Noticebly laughable thing (2):
Some girl who I barely know wanted my email. Strangely, she's my temp class's kid's friend who also got into YJ. Talking to her right now. Denise's kinda strange. Can't make out her personality yet.

OK. So i got all shell shocked that the instant response i gave out was *tilt head+frown*.

"YJ?"says *Tom.

*kurt nod.

Ahhh. No wondor. The kids had a fun time with us, thanks to us, and they didnt forget who gave them this chance. Frankly, i won't've given a damn if lets say i saw my seniors!

By limboy
I'm not sure whether I should laugh or cry. Are we the OGLs at YJC so successful that we 've left a deep imprint on our juniors? Cos while I was taking the feeder bus out with Ma, I saw this kid - could have been any Tom - and he gave me a slight wink, ya'noe, those that meant "HEY! I KNOW YOU!"

By limboy
I don't believe the mayhem Wendy Cheng has created, but I salute her for bring up an issue I would have gladly liked to discuss if I have the time. Unfortuantely for that "significant" other religion, I think as a Taoist myself, you people should all go home and take up Extremisim.

Everyone's mad.

What The Fuck.

If you don't like my religion, just fuck the heck out of my face. You don't disturb me, then I'll rather not stir the crap and disturb you. So I think to achieve this, we should draw a line, ya know, like those yellow lines outside the shops downstairs which their restricted territories, and hang a sign "DO NOT DISTURB" --- kinda like the imaginary line me and my bro draw between our rooms. We respect each other, and try to speak at the door of the room, rather than rush straight in and ka-qiao (aka disturb) each other by jumping on the bed, destroying the cushions, the calculators --- you get the idea.

On the other hand, if we don't even take in a belief of another, I think good friends like me and Hasyir won't even exist. Yeah, we do joke about each other's religion --- though me about the funny onion-looking mosque more than he does about the monks who don't wash their now-yellow-and-rotting magic cloaks. Or even why we pray to some dressed-up dolls on funny-shaped-tables.

I don't care. I think he doesn't. Or his skin got too thick to care about such nonsense. SOmetimes, people have to recognise the limitsof their jokes. I agree you can puke some nonsense that's not-primarily to insult your good friend(s), but you just can't do the same for some stranger you grab off Orchard Road, ya know!

During this OGL week, I'm incredibly grateful that my orientation group uts friendship before themselves. Everyone's nice and pretty sporting, except Raymond, whom I'm slightly not pleased with. The spot's marked by his mention twice of "CITY HARVEST CHURCH".

I literally frozed when he said that 3 words, but in the end, he's only joking about some idiot who performed some shit on stage and made a fool of themselves. But then again, I swore everyone in the discussion got VERY quiet for that split second --- either in fright or in anticipation --- I dunno.

Then again, if laws worked their way thru, Singaporeans should put country before themselves:

"We the citizens of Singapore,
Plege ourselves as one united people,
Regardless of race, language OR religion...."

Look! they even placed religion last!

Don't hope for too much peace. This blog's covered be the eye of the storm. The edges hasn't arrived yet.

I love my car.

****

I remembered one of my last year's new year resolution was to have no more new year resolution. After all, it's just some markers in numbers that people like yourself make, to remind yourself that you still have loads to do. If I were god and I say a new year starts on April 1st, then everyone including Bush will make their new year resolution and pop the champagne, fireworkers, cherry and stuff on April 1st --- wishing eveyone a happy new year.

"BAH!"

But then again every new beginning, if I may be allowed to call it, --- or year, you may label it, brings about a fresh new start, some kind of new beginning, new hope --- whatever.

So anyway, I hope to be able to do 200 push-ups one shot at the end of this year. If I can do this, then I can do anything.
