This house has shifted furniture for the umpteenth time since the year 2005 has started. Right now, there's almost a million and one holes which are meant to be filled with cement for anybody who doesn't have anything to do at all.

Which somehow remeinds me of a kid whom I saw at the MRT station today while I was walking home with Boss, Kzk and The Autistic Kid. The kiddo was roughly around my hip level of height...maybe less than a metre. First odd thing that struck me was why he was standing behind the bicycles chained to the metal linkway pillars. The other reason was that another woman who I assume is his mother is standing in the sun about 3 metres away from the kiddo.

At first, I thought it was some kind of brawling where Junior will cry cos his mama didn't buy the latest Lego toy (oops! that's for MY age back then) or a Yakult drink that Junior saw at the news vendor stall. It's only when we walked past Junior and Mother that I heard what Junior was ranting in mandarin:

"YOU COME HERE!"

"I WANT YOU TO COME HERE RIGHT NOW!"

"RIGHT NOW, I SAY!"

And all this while, Mother was playng the cool by folding arms akimbo, tilting her head slightly to her right and in the left direction to stare at Junior.

Of course Your's Truely didn't stay to watch Mother and Junior slug it out to win. But it does make me wonder what has happened to the kids nowadays. You can't explain people like Anthony Mak. They either decide at this point in life if they want to be good to their parents, and end up as good sons who don't impregnate other parent's daughters, or the obvious --- put on thick makeup and lots of metals studs on everywhere else on their body and spray their manly liquid capable of making more human beings on everyone they could hold down long enough for the dick to rise.

Naturally, most of us are already past that stage of rebelling. If you're still in that stage, my one piece of advice is that you have to wait till you're my age (*reads 18 years going 19) that you'll understand the importance of parents not to be just there, but to be visible and heard so you won't get lost in this transition stage.

Junior. I have no idea what they planted in the formula milk powder. Grandma even suggested that it's kids who drink too much formula milk who are incredibly naughty. This was meant for Callista, whom she finds too much in a package to handle. But Now I'm beginning to see some truth in Grand's theory. Could you have imagined yourself at the young tender age of 3 that you'll scream at your parents like you last shouted at them for cleaning and displacing all the stuff in your room yesterday? To add insult to injury, it's at the MRT station!

If I have my say, Junior has no right to shout at me like that until the day he/she no longer needs my money to fund his college education or help him out in buying a new house or in finding a new job. Till then, he or she has to listen to what I say when I say if I say and if Junior behaves like that kid back at the MRT station, I'll cane him on the spot and lock him up in the storeroom when we get back.

Apparently my parents treat me having a holiday as a joke. You know, those real holidays where you go out of the freaggin' country for a few days to R&R.

Firstly, a few days ago, they said they'll bring us over to Jakarta, where my pa works, for a weekend. My bro then said he wanted to do a little bit of shopping. Just like some girl. Man. Imagine the hell'o'a break I'll be having from physics and computing.

Then out from nowhere popped the idea to go Hong Kong that very weekend. Then pa suggested we go both countries for our holidays. Ya'know, those where people from HK will pop over to JKT through Singapore. Man. I was overjoyed.

Ma had the idea to bring my aunty and my grandma along for the holiday. OK. So be it. A long time since we had a holiday as a big family anyway.

Then my grandma's sister suddenly popped into the fking picture. And she wanted to go Hong Kong. After a big hoo-ha, everyone dropped the idea to go Hong Kong because the flight itself was a pain in the arse --- apparently. Most of us either had been to HK before or that we don't want to go HK. Then my youngest aunty who served as nothing but a financial assistance to my grandma popped into the picture. She didn't want Grandma to go JKT cos she's been there before and it'll be meaningless to go again. Besides, it's "a waste of money". I suspect it's otherwise but what-the-hell.

After a while, Ma who's in-charge of booking the flights and all that got so fed-up after she got such negative feedbacks that she told me point blank that she'll just cancel all the holiday plans, and actually was a bitch by suggesting we go Malaysia or something for holiday.

Have they any idea how desperately I need a real holiday?

I complained how this situation of booking-flights-for-my-holiday-then-calling-everything-off-and-then-they-go-for-holiday-while-I-stay-at-home has been on-going for countless times since the last 3 years.

Of course, I got quite fked and told her to shaddap after she tried to make it up by makng another round of promises like going to visit my cousins in Melbourne at the end of the year after my As.

Bitch.

Ended quite early yesterday for my umpire duty. Didn't knew until about 2 hours before the games ended, from Sufy that I could claim CIP points for doing such mundane stuff like looking after kids to play a game well.

Well. Not exactly A game. Was like 24 games from 8am to 4pm. reached school at 8am. Malek was late, and I panicked for a while cos I saw that since noone seems to be in school, saved for some Canberra girls and CJ and some retarded looking Rodney girls. The hall wasn't even opened --- filled with people and a bloody red carpet to invite me in.

Nevermind that, cos eventually, people started filtering in. Saunter was the order of the day. People saunter into games that might determine their house between last and first in the college. People saunter to get their freaking-retarded sticks. I felt so damn lucky that I bought my own stick. The kids used the --- like my senior Shao Kai said : "Condemned sticks from 10 years ago" --- old and useless sticks. If I were to wave the blade abit harder, the blade would come off the maain shaft.

Utully disgusting.

Daniel came along. I supposedhe had some kind of lesson. Or CJ asked him along too. Lucky for us. Umpiring was tiring. Sufy, CJ, Izzah, Daniel, Malek, Yan and me shared the work. Daniel went off first around afternoon when the girls' matches had finished.

Malek went off cos he had to go Malaysia for a short holiday. I envy.

Left me and Sufy to do the main umpiring cos Izzah and CJ had to recover from their matches. That's when the strain came on me. Whoah, when I looked at my watch. I haven't eaten.

And at the end of the 4 o'clock hour, I felt so beat the only thing that could carry me home was an ambulance. Didn't have any lunch. Didn't get any invitations from the J1 girls who were eating BK. Oh man. The smell of the fries was everywhere.

Went home completely shagged and bought a currypuff from Old Chang Kee to shut up my stomach. Should have went straight to sleep after my shower, but NO. Ma had to ask me out to eat sushi again. Might have been the second time this month. I can't understand her love affair with sushi.

Went home with a damn heavy stomach, which didn't seem t to go away after 2 hours.

Woke up this morning and felt like dying. My rib cage felt like it collapsed on my lungs. Couldn't breathe properly and nobody in the house cares. Ended up staying at home when my tummy couldn't take the watery shit that's coming out from my ass. Then they all went out to makan at Maxwell Road and left me all alone in the house to eat leftovers from yesterday's lunch, some bread, and a kuey from morning's breakfast. Very quite now save for Ryan Seacrest's show blaring from the radio on my left. Some peace is good now and then.

OK. I'm blabering crap. Time to stop

I'm so disgusted with the world, I wish I'm in bed dreaming of a perfect world where people thing of nothing but apples.

Nah. It's just an excuse to sleep. Been keeping quite late nights lately. Probably because of the new position of the junk table. Something fresh, I supposed. I think everybody should try it. Then we'll have occupation that's called "furniture displacer" specailly created to cater to people like me who have nothing better to do than to shift furniture.

Apples. Courtesy of the Polar Bear. A few weeks back when we were all really stressed for various reasons, he'll stop me and say:

"SHAWN! Think HAPPY thoughts! Think of the APPLES!"

Yeah right. If anybody else had said that, like Boss, I'd have told him:

"ASS YOU BEE!"

Watched Star Wars III Revenge of the Sith again, no thanks to Mr Buaya. But he blanjah, so it's ok with me. Purrfectly fine. I don't watch movies twice over within a week. Now I can repeat the whole story twice over without a blink of my eye.

Next movie I'm waiting for is the War Of the Worlds. Always wanted to read the H.G. Wells book which the movie is based on. Now, I've got a visual on the story! How cool. For lazy people. Story books. Just add $8.50.

I'm pooped. Invited by Malek to umpire the floorball matches tmr. Wee-wee.

Just read the Life! section of the Straits Times, and page2 was specially dedicated to a blaady one-sided prediction that Bo will win.I haven't been tuning to American Idol recently. I watched the prelimanary rounds of this season, though. And just a little bit of the finalists' rounds.

I wanted Vonzell to win. But I was lucky I didn't put a bet on it, cos on the show just before she got eliminated, I heard an annyoying squeak from her close-to-purrfect voice. I thought she had the potential to be the next Whitney Houston. Guessed wrongly. She still has a strong voice, and a PR-friendly face to go with it, but somehow it doesn't show very well with most of the blaady voters.

So it comes down to this:

Don't believe everything you see. They can be nice --- for the sake of cameras. Bet on them punching each other's balls out when they go back to the hotels.

Poor Vonzell. See you at the finals! --- as an audience.

It's no use complaining about homework. Becoming much and understatement. Went to Chinatown yesterday evening to eat chicken rice. Of course. Whatever else for. It's either chicken rice or claypot rice from the hawker food court above the wet market. I did ate from Boon Tong Kee chicken rice shop before (if I'm not wrong, it's along the main road), but it wasn't all that good. The one inside the food court was much better. Probably because the smell in the food court made the experience much more...er...authentic.

But anyway, the rice stall had a long queue. And thanks to the bitch who usually serves the food --- she's on MC or something --- self-servcie was the order of the day. My poor Ma had to queue up to wait for the chooper-wielding aunty to zham the gai ---chicken in cantonese --- before she could bring it over to our seats. And to add insult to injury (grammer...grammer. I'm trying to be nore sophisicated-sounding, OK?) the ginger sauce was so damn watery. Looked as if someone had scooped all the ginger shreds to their plates, then left the water alone.

How selfish.

Finished dinner. Walked around and bought buns from Baker-Boy. We were still hungry from the less-than-perfect chicken rice.

Took the train to AMK cos Pa wanted to see his old army-pal who lives in AMK, somewhere around Anderson. We boarded the train at Raffles Place. Lucky to have seats. When the train reached City Hall, something shocked me.

This old lady (I mean as in REALLY CMI-old) took the seat to our(me and Bro's) left. Then this young lady --- can't be more than primary 2 --- rushed into the train clutching onto her mobile phone. Her runnning directions gave the impresson that she wanted to take the seat now occupied by the old lady. And when she saw that there's no chance for her to sit down anymore, she uttered something. I couldn't see. Bro nudged me later and told me *quite loudly:

"Eh. You saw what happened just now?"

*nodded.

"You heard what she said?" *points to the little-disgusted girl who's now standing just infront of us.

*shakes head.

"Wang Ba Dan."

*widden eyes. "What?"

"Wang Ba Dan."

Means son-of-a-bitch in mandarin.

Felt so shocked. A little girl who's not even went through puberty to scold such nonsense. To an old lady --- that's the best part. The woman standing to this girl's left, whom I presume is her mother, just smiled --- the kind where she's used her eyes to apologise cos she can't possibly slap her kid in broad daylight in a train carraige filled with over a hundred people.

When the train stopped at Orchard, some guy and his girlfriend wanted to get off the train. And they were standing behind this little girl. The train was quite packed so it does take a little pushing to get off the train in time.

More unfortunately, he pushed this little girl. Thru my headphones whihc were blaring Linkin' Park, I saw her turn around, faced the guy and swore:

"WANG BA DAN!"

For a split second, the guy just stopped in his midtrack and stared abck at this little girl.

Then he and his girlfriend got off the train.

"Wang Ba Dan," the little girl muttered underneath her breathe again. This time round, the mother was really shocked. The "I'm soooo sorry!" look hung on her droopy eyelids. She had the expression that she'd raher get rammed by the train than acknowledge that the girl is her daughter.

So from this we can see what the media has taught our young generation. Bad influnce. Nothing else that's good. Just loads to fucks and bitches and whatsoever. Do we have any decency left in our society that's comparable to ---hell, even MY morale?

Hectic schedule. Going to crash Anderson Sec on Friday to see my favourite teachers. Well. I bluffed. But still, it's a break from the hectic schedule from now. And it's a Friday. Oh shit. I'll be missing the Superman show.

Lot's to do. It seems the teachers are ganging up on us to make us do our work on time, or else, we face situations where you'll find it impossible to complete anything. I need more sleep, more hours in a day, a minor miracle to finish everything. Liang Pour Pour's test tmr, and yet I haven't studied. AC analog tmr too. I'm in deep crap. Sky high crap.

Moral of the story:

Organise your files everyday when you go home faithfully. Reduces the mess somewhat even if you don't study at home at all. Have another file which you'll label "CRAP" to hold all that nonsense junk that doesn't fit anywhere. Better still. Get a dumbster and label it "Rubbish" to hold volumes of "CRAP".

Make sure you clear your table every night faithfully before you sack in. It makes studying a whole lot pleasant. My room's like the ultimate horror story if you don't follow the above 2 guild lines.

The bicycle pump just blew out on me. Threw my plans to go for a nice ride around the area straight out of the window. Now I'm gonna kill my lil' brother cos he's the only one in the house who uses the bicycle pump regularly to supplement his bike so he can go out for his ride AND "get a nice tan".

I don't understand. How the fking hell can you get a tan if you go out for your ride at 2pm in the afternoon? It's hot. And the sun rays are harmful. He just can't give up the idea that his older brother will forever be darker then him. I easily get tanned and then my poor skin turns dark --- permanently.

Here I am trying desperately not to look like Ah Neh, and there he is struggling to get brown skin. Anyway, I think my skin is brown enough from all that training under the 3pm sun and matches at 4 o'clock. I'm damn scared people can't see me when night falls.

heehee.

Ma bought me a new pair of shoes. Of course she has to. My old pair fell out on me. The insides have started to rot. The outside looks rather OK, though. Amazing. And I had been nagging her for a week already.

It's just like frying an egg which is chao-tar-ed inside but raw outside.

She always talked about me wasting her money. And yet she bought a new pair of shoes for herself before we went into the sports shop to get mine. Must have been her 3rd pair this year. Her alibi? She fell down the steps as she was coming home from work at the MRT station. And it's the shoes that lead to her downfall.

Literally.

Said she tripped over her sandals and then her skirt and it's like doing a triple somersault when she rolled down the steps. Grazed her elbow big time. Gave her old bones little twists here and there but she came home in one single piece.

Now she's paranoid of sandals. And bought real shoes instead of flip-flops.

And while we were walking to the sports shop, she spotted the same pair of sandals she bought in M'sia for RM30. It sold S$40 in Bonia. As we stepped out of the shop, she exclaimed so loud in mandrarin "WHOAH! I bought the same model in M'sia for the same price if exchange rate is one-to-one leh! Who would be so DUMB to buy the same thing here, man!" I think the guys at Delifrance heard her.

We didn't notice the old woman who was standing behind us was the Bonia shop keeper. She looked damn shocked, and retorted "Errr...we got a discount price now..."

Didn't bother with this old woman. Backsided her and walked away as if nothing happened.

Of course we couldn't win the match against VJC. Lost 5-9. But then agian, they got scolded when we stepped out of Delta. Their number 16, reputedly one of the better players on the field (number 19 wasn't playing, strangely), was giving a fierce lecture to the entire team. I gues he just got pissed off that quite a few number of times YJC's number 19 --- that's ME --- managed to intercept him everytime he got the ball. He possesion of the ball was so bad. And one thing I found out as I was resting on the bench, their boys can't take pressure.

I shouted a loud BOO! when one of their players was about to take a ball along the flank. And I suspect after he heard my BOO!, he panicked and lost the ball outside the field, which obviously gave us to chance to clear it from the sideline.

Another thing is that they played cheat. Flicking the lump of thing upwards and hit Malek twice in the face. And they don't sweep the ball.

They flick.

One of the most terrible ways to pass the ball cos it's damn dangerous. Can break teeth that kind.

Oh yeah. Their flicking cost them a short corner. Our very first in the entire tournament! Too bad the pass was lousy --- forgot who screwed it. I think it's capt. he didn't stop the ball completely, so instead of hitting the ball, he dribbled it between his legs and the opponent intercepted it.

Saw the match before ours. CJ vs AJ. Aj rocks. Mainly cos Kim (I saw him), my old friends Wee Leong, Chongyu, Daniel Poon were in the games. Saw only Kim, though. Probably cos I rmbed only him in AJ. Forgot that LCY and Dan Poon and Wee Leong were in AJ hockey. Saw Mei Chee too. HA! Too bad I didn't go over to socialise. Might have been quite a reunion of CFPS and Anderson friends.

Feeling like slapping Mrs G.

If you recall the list I jotted down prior to this post of the agenda for this weekend, I think I'm like 40% through the stupid pile of dirt dished at me. Pure crap, I'm telling you. No time to eben shit properly, because all the while, I'll be thinking of what point to write next for the mind-map. Not to forget the essay outlines. THREE fking pages. I don't even scratch fot that long. So for this time, I've completely given up on long controversial posts that I used to write. If you want, go back to the "MONTHLY POSTS" and re-read them.

See if you get your kick from it.

I don't need more time. I need more money to buy more time.

I'm so damn screwed. Studied very hard. Very hard. Despite the tiring schedule with the intense training and all, I'm still taking sme time out to study. Not like some of my fellow hockey boys, I'm not getting all FAILS for my tests.

Just that everytime I study and put in my best efforts, it just doesn't show. I thought Ms tan saw my efforts in tutorial lessons. I DO my tutorials, OK? Not like Autistic (Whiz) Kid and Benny who do their tutorials last minute, then expect to show some shit work.

But yet they still pass their tests.

If only they grade you like they're gonna grade SPA practicals, I'll pass with flying colours. All because I DO my work. I still got double Os and a fking F. It's not fair. Mrs G asked me yesterday why I'm not passing.

I have no answer for her. Just stared at the paper till she drilled me for her politically correct answers.

Going to watch Kingdom of Heaven with Ma and Bro later, then it's the dumb dumb parents-teachers meeting.

MI-3:
-------
6 essay outlines.
18 mindmaps.
1 compo.
1 compre.
1 maths paper.
2 computing tutorials
3 computing practicals
3 hockey matches = 48 hours of worry and mental training.

Very tough period of time. I hope Ma understands when she gets the results from Mrs G.

It rained just a while ago. I actually wanted to do a rain dance to celebrate, but just when I finished putting the rice into the cooker, the drizzle stopped. So Rain-god, here's my ass for you to kiss.

*takes off pants and juts his arse out

Boring day today. Chinese Orchestra SYF competition today. I promised my class CO guys that if they get gold award, I'll treat sweets. Of course I keep my promises.

Went to Kdmt's blog and flamed the one-ball-"annoymous". Wonder why he didn't come to my blog to flame me directly instead. And he's haam-chee enough not to put his name down. or even a teeeny-weeny nickname for himself. Noooo... He's damn lazy. He jusy HAD to use the default name, which is obviously "annoymous". Then there's this half gutted dude called "blank". Not any better, if you do some pondering that I'm sure both "annoymous" and "blank" are callous with. Let's do some text analysis.

So now I'm

  • "... just jealous of sc or something...

Oh puh lease. Did I tell you of the GRAND lie that I made up for quitting SC elections at the last minute? It's cos I hate Armpit. Oh I forgot. Annoymous will be using braincell-free brain cavity to read this. He's Armritpal Singh. Oh yeah. It's the truuuuth, I tell you!

  • "i think you suck u fishy guy, slippery slimey and disgusting with only one ball as a swim bladder. "

Firstly, grammatically, this doesn't make sense. I know I don't write perfect Queen's English, however this is atrocious. He thinks I suck I fishy guy. I needed 10 seconds to translate this. He means I suck and I'm fishy. Then he goes on later to describe what a fish looks like --- it's slippery slimey and disgusting. Right. Then he went on to say I have one ball. Sorry man, I passed my floorball to Jabster and the hockey putt in 204's classroom. If he meant my testicles, I think he needs to know that I just checked and I have TWO balls, thanks. And they're safe and sound in my scrotum. =)

And I think my balls aren't used as swimming bladder. Or something like that. Because I didn't know that fish just evolved so quickly since I last ate it 2 days ago that they now have swim bladders!

How amazing Mother Nature is.

  • "get a life will u whoever u r fish man"

Have you read the title above? Have some originality, dude. That's MY blog title. If I can have that as my title, I think I have enough of what you call "life", so thank you very much for your excellent advice.

The urge to crap. Never thought it will be over the praising of our opponents. Some in school knew that hockey's match on Friday was with PJC. Sad for them, but Your's truely wasn't the least bit scared when I stepped into CCAB. Was there efore, so I knew the conditions of the terrible weather and how the court will looked like.

So the match went on with PJ scoring 1 goal, followed by 3 consecutive goals within 6 minutes. I can't believe it while I was warming the bench. Didn't play that well with RJ last Wednesday, so I guessed Coach forced me to sit down and watch the game to reduce my erratic performance on the court.

Right. I sound thick skinned. But I have to admit when I'm on form, rarely anybody snatches my ball from me can get away scott-clean physically. The power of will + legs.

The demoralising period just before the reff blew for half time. Coach sat us down and told us once again that we're there only cos it's our first few matches and we're just there to gain experience. Of course he says that.

Change of plan. He sent me up to guard the mid-field. Allan...or was it Aaron. Hmm... They were both tired, anyway. So I was sent to mark PJ's 19. That sounds familiar until I tell you I'm also 19 for YJ. Daniel was up court chiong-ing like Clarence did during the first half. (BTW, Clarence got pulled down to defence. He ran out of breathe in a rare occasion).

PJ's 19 was quite steady. Didn't give him much chance with the ball. Passed it up to Daniel while I could. Then one time when 19 got the ball, I chiong-ed into him and accidently knocked my head into his. My ear cartilege chipped a bit --- no thanks to his skull against my specs frame. Called for sub.

Allan went up and a few minutes after that, the only goal for the second half went in by pure fluke by PJ. Allan to blame! BLEAH! =)

Sufy went down about 10 minutes of exciting cheering by us and a few encouragment by the JJ girls who were standing by to support their guys in the MI-JJC match after ours. Funny thing was Sufy wnet down like a comet clutching his legs --- they cramped. Then 2 PJ guys threw their sticks down and pumped Sufy's legs up, forcing him to lie down. So then he looked like some L-shaped thingy on the greens. When he ordered the 2 guys to pull "somemore", they tried to break his thighs by bending them more towards his body.

"AHHH!!! BODUUUUUH! NOT SO MUCH LAAAAAHHHH!!!!"

The PJ guys --- I forgot their numbers --- they laughed and relaxed a bit. Quite comical.

I got sent up to take over Sufy and a while afterwhich the game ended with 5-0. Phew.

****

Now it seems PJ adn JJ guys aren't so bad after all --- at least the hockey ones. JJ cheered for us despite knowing we're gonna lose anyway. PJ helped us...well.. helped Sufy when they could have just took the break when Reff called for a time-out. Kotows to them and my full respect!
