While chewing gum this morning, I bit my toungue hard, as a result, I'm feeling a small lump at the tip of my tongue since the talk in the auditorium on security issues by an officer from the Singapore Air Force.

Talking about that<>whatever. So I think all the blazer and stuff --- proudly worn on by dear Ben Fong, and escort by 2 gay prefects (including the gay Ben Fong) is not necessary, and making the guy look uncomfortable.

I mean. At most have a girl prefect or whatever lah. They're making the whole affair like as if Linus Torvalds is making a rare appearance in person in public. And having 2 perfectly gay-guy-prefects certainly ups the gay-atmosphere.

I finally learnt how to do a strike out. Yeah. Something new everyday.

School. Forever exciting. Reached school today at 8am. (BTW, NO prizes for guessing who didn't turn up in school.) OK. So I was in school at 8am, after some initial confusion by Boss and Mr Buaya. I told Boss the physics lecture's supposed to be in the audi, but he smsed me back and it's LT4. But Buaya told me before hand the lecture's in the audi.

As I was stepping into the school, I was thinking how in the world Mr Tai can be in 2 places at once. Then I thought that maybe I'll go LT4. The Boss never lies --- at least he rarely does about school work. Then when I opened the external crappified doors of the LT the thought of the school using something they called 'live' broadcasts was damn funny.

It's as it Yishun Junior College has learnt the existence of a new toy and they're so fucking hell eager to play around with it.

If I had told you that some things like the youth day's concert was broadcast from the audi all the way to LT4 --- conviniently located next door, you would hav laughed.

I think you'll start rolling on the floor when I tell you the Head of Department for Student Welfare Ms Wong had told most of us during a mass lecture that "We'll be BROADCASTING LIVE!! the telecast of the Youth Day Concert to the hall!!!"

My oh my.

Have you heard of dj's on radio mention the word "Broadcasting live!"? on national radio? Ever noticed the tone of the field reporter? It seemed as if it was an exciting event going on --- like someone's gonna jump off a building and they're "BROADCASTING LIVE!!!!" just every sight and sound in the place. Apply that to our dear teachers and you'll get the idea.

And I've developed the idea that the school might be broadcasting "LIVE!!!" this lecture from the audi to LT4. Guess I thought too much and saw Mr Tai standing in front of an audience of 300+ people.

****

As much as I want to think Mr Tai is normal, he's abnormal. Everything is not fun if they are "not exciting, isn't it?" He seems to consider floatation theory something so old anyone can write a thesis on the Archimedes Principle with his eyes closed.

Something's "more exciting" when there's blood and gore. Some bozo tryign to fly with wings like a bird is not exciting. Some bozo trying to fly with wings like a bird and ends up dirtying the floor and walls is "more exciting".

I didn't think I'll need a title for every post entry, cos wih the state I'm in, I'm posting nonsense and nonsense. Kinda like our very dear Botak putting shit and shit together, and expect some sort of coherence from it.

HA.

Another day. Evening now. I hate Sundays. The weather. I think the weathermen have ganged up together to give people very sad days. So depressing.

Dinner. Going out to celebrate Pa's birthday.

I'll just jot something down before I go for my shower.

Not very happy with the attitude of some people recently. OF course, I'm not talking about our dear Tien Yuan ---whatever attitude I have towards you were not intentional. It's just that you always catch me in a bad timing when after I was fuming mad with some minor fk.

What's more incomprehensible at hand is our ever-so-familiar Botak (not Lug). It's Botak --- one who hunches and walks and gives himself the impression that he has very large and strong shoulders.

I mean...I don't geddit. You have something to show, you're currently so successful with everything that you do, and yet you have to barge into my life like some stuupid dumb fk. Frankly speaking, I'm rather sick with your obnoxious behaviour --- the impossibly-loud voice, the paikia-wannabe style of walking, the intention to imitate some of everyone's little actions. I dunno if my friends have noticed it.

I never talk to Boss about my hatred with Botak. So far, only Kzk knows of my extreme dislike for Botak.

OK. So what if you have finished your program? So what if everything works out fine and you get nothing more than occasional syntax error? Have you ever thought about how senseless you are leeching on other's work? Puh-lease. Everyone heard how you got scolded by Polar Bear for you incompetency of understanding what you are writing. If I have a better metaphor, you're simply just plucking "2" from Britannica, "4" from Google, trying to equate them into a what-you-think-is-reasonable equation.

When something goes wrong, you don't try to first understand where is wrong. Is it even how you name your variables? How can you possibly have an object called (I use some rubbish) kickmybloodyassifyoucan.

I'm stunt.

I can't even start to believe how you wnat to be a computing teacher if everything you do, you seemed to be regurgitating from heart. If I had asked you what's the theory behind flushing shit from the hole you sat on, I think you'll be so stupefied by my simple question that you'll start talking about how the shit is formed.

I need to know why you flushed that shit. Not how you are made when your parents fked and had you some 18 years ago.

And please stop being kpo. We don't need a councilor who has stepped down from his duties and yet try to act boss around us.

I'll end here because I think me being angry with you is not worth starving my body for. Fk you and go to hell.

My tummy's full. And my mind's tired from all the hustle and bustle around. A good option would be to go sleep, and risk having my stomach blown apart from all that dinner.

A better option is to complete my maths homework so I don't have to stay up too late again to do sub-standard work.

Another part of my homework is the new CSWiki --- website is restricted for the moment to prevent any Tom, Dick or Harry to savage the place like no-one's business. Alright. Off.

So much for the extensive crap of the Net, a major resource that's so big if I turn it into geepee essays to write up on, I would have died on the spot of spasm upon hearing the teacher giving me the assignment. OKAY. That's pure nonsense.

So my life is so terribly bored of what happens aorund me, or is the Sunday weather alwasys so sickiening, or even because I stayed up till 3am this morning doing my tutorials.

I'm proud to say that since 24 Mar 2005 when MDK 10.0 Official has been running on this PC, and through the 1945 times that MDK has logged every action that requires some sort of logging for security purposes, jennifer(my computer's name) has never been compromised of security from the outside.

Quite an acheivement, considering I've tried all kinds of hacks to the outside, but just a simple and reliable hardware firewall thanks to my router, people never tried successfully to sneak into jennifer. Or even saw jennifer on the Net, for that matter.

I saw a dog erect before me while I was at my aunty's flat in Seremban a few weeks back. There wasn't a bitch 20 metres in sight.

I saw 2 cats humping each other. And they were moaning like crazy. Right in front of the shop owner downstairs.

Is it my sensitivity of mammals enjoying themselves in full view of the public, or is it the animals love love-making in the sight of thousands of passers-by without a heck?

It must be my lucky days to see other animals get horny.

It seems everyone in my class is really stressed out. Couldn't agree more. I've been at the keyboard more than I've been at my desk for the past week. And now, my fingers have become so numb that I can't be knowing what I'm typing.

Right. They need to touch the lovely shaft of the 50¢ pens.

And Boss msged me just a few minutes ago complaining how he cannot concentrate anymore:
"Die... How... Cannot finish... Cannot even finish a compre... Essay outline also only finish half of first question..."

As the ...ahem... benevolent friend, I replied:
"I pity u.u going to slp liao ah?"

"Ya... Cannot contune leh... Eyes close half way liao... Cannot think also..."

This time I'm really amazed at how a model student could slack his way through the holiday assigments and have passed his GeePee:
"Then go slp lah.no use struggling n give (Mrs G) lousy wk tt even u cnt read"

But of course. I learnt it the hard way, when one fine night while doing the beloved CindyT's homejoy, I slept on the table and hit my huge nose hard on the table. So the moral of the story is to push yourself but know your limits. You don't want to knock your nose bleeding or something.

Something's been bothering me. Floorball or not to floorball. The year 1s need their training. Who else better to train them and give them the run for their time than us? But then again, everyone expects us to step down already. Including Mrs G and Ms Tan. Ms Tan, especially. Don't want to let her down after she put some constructive excuses under my poor grades:

"...Zhen Xun has been busy with his CCA this term..."

It was hockey. Then it was floorball. I'm sooooo victimised by Shelia. Worse of all, Shelia expects us to get fantastic grades while training with the year 1s.

Floorball: have you become a chore than fun?

****

Talking about Ms Tan. She's been acting weird lately. When she was supposed to blast Anthony for some dumb comments in class, she just stared at him for a scrutinizing second or two, before replying:

"NOOOOO...ANTHONEEEEeeee! ................. "

Then the nice explanation part comes in. I supposed this helps to create a learning environment more than a torture class, cos Anthony's improving somewhat, despite not passing still and quite blur with his topics. I suspect its him memorizing by heart everything in the lecture notes.

But anyways, Ms Tan's weird. She spent quite a bit of time talking about her uni days (about 8 years ago), which sounds quite fun. Gives time to relax, but.

Weird.

I love talking to Ma. It's not like when I talk to my Pa. She treats me more like a friend than a son, wheras Pa would be like a commando officer who orders his son around like a dog --- though I must say it's getting less so.

Just like just now when I had to explain to her that clouds are not smoke. Cos she always thought it was smoke. Shocking. And since the clouds behind the house was fantastic for the dusk, it was fantastic to view what the sky had to offer.

And similarly, I learn something from Ma almost everyday, when like yesterday evening, when I learnt how the housing loan and the CPF works when one buys a property.

So I don't really understand people who kept on saying they don't get along with their parents.

Mr Buaya has a new phone: One of the coolest, slimmest clams from the ever infamous Motorola:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

But looking at these fanciful phones, especailly those which support 3G, I suddenly feel like I'd like to stay back using 2.5G. You see, the phones keep on getting more functions, but does the battery support such larhe power consumptions? Try messaging for say, 6 hours one shot without letting the colour screen rest.

Right. It'll blow out on you in no time.

So what's the point if I have a few hundred songs in my phone? Is it still listenable if I have no battery? Will listening to these songs increase the battery's drain like a child drinking Coke from a 250ml can?

And what happens if I'm in the jungle or some faraway places where the satellite signals are damned weak? Will my phone be able to take it? Will it last the wet sea air for months? Will it last the deep rainforest or even jungle climate for years? You see, all these phone's designs will need some consderations. I'll change right away to that phone that'll fullfill

  • Extremely long lasting battery
Primarily, it's to save the earth some power. If the same batt module can last twice (or thrice) as long as the current ones, it'll save us more costs.

  • Really tough enough for the military usage --- but yet elegant enough for weddings
Of course! Who needs a phone that's scratchable in half a second? And it won't last my tough usage for a few weeks? Doesn't it defeat the purpose of a mobile phone?

Unless of course my classy T610 decides to give way to newer cousins of hers. The toggle button's getting a bit cranky, because it cannot toggle down nowadays unless you use a car lever to shove it downwards

I still haven't given up my hopes on the S700i, you know.

Primarily, it's to save the earth some power. If the same batt module can last twice (or thrice) as long as the current ones, it'll save us more costs.

The topics are horrible and need about 200hrs worth of reading to complete a topic in 20 hours:

Can music change the world? Discuss.

And worse. I've just remembered I have to do some article for LTA. Stupid Cows. And physics revision and maths revision and tutorial. I'll have to wake up at 6 o'clock to finish everything.

Yes. We won. Thanks to Ms Val for the reminder at the tag.

Kept meaning to write down something here. But I think I got quite carried away checking my mail last night, so you see the post below.

Yishun Junior College Unihockey team has outdone outselves. Our girls were thrid last year. And boys were last last year.

This year, we're first. And boys are fourth --- might have been third if MI boys didn't draw with RJC boys. Stupid Rafflesians. But then again, for RJ to beat MI by FIVE points is not something easy-peasy task --- just so we can get third.

I rather the best team win --- which in this case is naturally MI.

Their captain is towering at 190cm. And he doesn't run across the court --- he flies across --- I know. I failed at deflecting one or two of his backstick slams.

And RJC sucks because they don't know anything about teamwork. Everyone on their team come rushing like bees to one spot, and cling onto Vincent like 3 octo-pussies. The one left does the slamming of his stick on the ball which will fly in at 200KM/h.

****

YJC unihockey's the best. We have the best coach and teacher who encourage us to move on and fight --- though I rather beg to differ sometimes.

But of course. We can't forget the team players.

We often bicker over things like kayu umpires after matches (me and Daniel) When one person scores, we fight over whether
1 - the stick that matters
2 - the skill that matters.
Some people who want to settle the fight and go home quickly after late trainings will say both matters, let it be and let's go home.

Some people say they bullshit coz it's all tyco (that's what I say, at least.)

Some people will make a lot of noise when they are ordered to pack the sticks back to the PE store --- Royce

Some people quietly slip away after packing just their bags and gather at the study area to wait for their kakis --- Val and her Mr R, and Azzi with Adiylah aka Minah.

Some people make alot of noise everytime everywhere --- like Clare and the gang.

Some people have taken on some other players like a new crush, only that they constantly bug them, and scream their 'crush's name in public like a sex-craved man running after a naked Kylie Minogue. I'm talking about CJ --- president of The Malek Fan Club.

Some people chill in the canteen at the vending machine --- John and Malek.

Some people discuss the game and take such a long time to pack their stinkin bags, that the caretaker has to come into the hall at 7.40pm to shoo them out --- Fizah and Jabster and their stinkin keeper suits.

Some people try to hit the balls like siao cos they have nothing else better to do --- Sufy and Izzah.

Goodbye, guys. (At least that's offically.) Thanks for the memories.

Ripped this off an email:

If you're a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but
sleep for six months. I could deal with that.

Before you hibernate, you're supposed to eat yourself
stupid. I could deal with that too.

If you're a bear, you birth your children (who are the
size of walnuts) while you are sleeping and wake to
partially grown, cute, cuddly cubs. I could definitely
deal with that.

If you're a mama bear, everyone knows you mean business.
You swat anyone who bothers your cubs. If your cubs get
out of line, you swat them too. I could deal with that.

If you're a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake up
growling. He EXPECTS that you will have hairy legs
and excess body fat.

Yup...... I want to be a bear!

National Floorball Competition starts today all the way until Thursday, where we'll see who the winner of the five schools will be. But it seems this year, we have so few schools playing at the National Finals: Yishun JC (duh), millennia Institute, Meridian JC, Siling Sec, Northland Sec, Raffles JC. So all in all, 5 games in 3 days sounds mathematically correct.

But it's surprising how people can remember the better things, even if really lousy people come along and screw up our chances. We played with MI for our first match. And we lost this one, because Yours Truely was stupid enough to let in about 1 or 2. I was hitting the panic button when I ran out of breathe. There was this baee from MI, whom I shall call Turbanator. Unfortunately, his name is also Armrit.

So Armrit and his fellow striker was up front. I was doing sole defense when Zaw went up to tackle the wrong person. Most terrible thing happened: The ball richoted off somebody's blaady shoes and Turbanator went PA--PA and the ball zipped past my right eyeball and went in.

I can't remember what exactly happened after that, cos the ball went into spasm and MI scored about 2 more before Sufy shot in a quickie into the lobang in the MI goalie's net.

The second game with Northland --- never felt worse in my life. I let in the only goal through and took a penalty by standing in the goalie's box while defending. Luckily the bastard from Northland didn't shoot it right through, cos he was too busy practising his fanciful dribbling that he over shot his safety mark and Vincent caught the ball with his hands --- I think.

I got screamed at by Coach for the stupid mistakes made, of course. Altogether about 2. Three, is I'm more pessimistic. So naturally he thought I wasn't ready and pulled me out from the game altogether. Ended up sitting on the bench for about 2 periods out of the 3 periods of 10 minutes per period.

I thought as I sat on the bench how much I hate Coach. Then I thought about how blur Shelia was by merely echoing Coach and bloody hell yell at me too. Then I got quite angry and banged my stick --- quite hard --- on the floor, just to vent my anger and fustration of letting in so many precious scores knowing full well the team needs a miracle to strike a fking goal in.

It didn't work. I got more angry at letting the people --- Northlanders --- slash at my stick without calling for a foul. So I told myself to keep quite and all the shit in mouth. It didn't work either, cos I was shouting again to direct Allan, who was more blur than Olivia Teo and who also substituted me.

We won the Northland match in the end, of course. They're not up to standard yet --- just came to play, unlike the Northland A-Boys. Those muthafarkers mean business. If I didn't say already, one of them threatened me by glaring at me to "WATCH YOUR FUCKING FACE. YOU WATCH THAT FUCKING FACE" while I was guest at Northland to play a few 'friendlies' a few weeks back.

Ouch.

Shelia tried to make it up later when I was about to board the bus, but I doubt it was a realy positive note:

"It's OK, Shawn. The best make mistakes sometimes."

When we hopped off the bus in school, Coach seemed to be trying to hint something with what he always say:

"I think the games were played well. I could see some little bit improvement in your plays, especially those who came to train on Monday....I know I could have yelled at you just now, but what's on the court and what's during training is very different.. I hope none of you got hurt, yes?"

He meant physical injuries.

"So remember what lessons you've learnt today, forget about what's not good. Go home and take a good night's rest. I need all of you to come back tomorrow ready to play again."

Such a fatherly speech. Someone tell me how to hate him at all.

Came back from the concert. Not too bad, I must say. That cool-looking guy-teacher --- the one that dares to flaunt with a bod that many guys will die for --- Mr Sim, I think, sang about 2 songs, few occasions when he went out of pitch, but generally forgivable.

Then there's the two music teachers, Ms Yap and this new music teacher. They're fantastic. They did a duet on the piano, and it lasted what? 10 minutes? Simply stunning. And then the guy went on to do a solo --- when his finger went so fast he's looked like he's suffering from spasm from the angle I was sitting at.

Most of it was still music and stuff. The other Mr-not-that-handsome-Sim who teaches English, I think, made an OK host. Not up to standard, of course. He saved his skin much of the time by making fun of the going-ons around him. One time, he made fun of the instrument poking out from behind the closed curtain, and joked, by asking us to guess who's performing next by guessing thru the size of the 'butt' that's poking through the curtain.

Never once a self-depreciating joke. Ah. That'll make one a great host. Kinda like Mark Richmond --- he makes a perfect emcee for any occasion.

Ma's friend is over at my house, disturbing the tranquility. HA. As if there's ever any in this rabit hole. The chime in the living room is enough to disturb the neighbours downstairs. One time, I even heard the chime on the first floor while I was coming back from something --- school or something.

Now I'm just going off to dress to go school, though it's not my school day. The teachers are performing some kind of show for the sake of Youth Day. If Boss had not asked me, I think I wouldn't even consider. Life would be so much more productive sitting right here doing my geepee.

More boopers from those people in school when I come back.
